“Great Stay at Beach Plaza”
Doing a little renovation didn't bother us much; the hotel was a great place; wonderful staff; we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. Everything clean and neat in room. Lots of interesting people stay there. Very international. Close to everything. Easy to walk to bars, restaurants, beach, etc. Two diverse and interesting cultural areas to explore within walking distance. The breakfast staff were fast and very efficient--fed lots of people quickly with little slowdown; it wasn't their first rodeo! The convenience of stowing our gear, both before and after checkin/checkout was really appreciated. Front desk people make it happen right now! Transportation to the airport for several people staying in two other places easily arranged by concierge staff and executed by excellent, flexible driver. We really didn't want to leave!
“More than we expected”
We totally expected a room to just crash in during our stay at this hotel. We had a late check in that they accomodated without fuss. When we got into the room, we were SURPRISED about everything. It's really a mini-apartment. The first room had a king sized bed with a flat TV. Move forward, there a sitting area that includes a daybed, a hightop bar table and another flat TV. Move forward, a full size kitchen with stainless steal appliances, (expect a stove). To the right, another secluded full bedroom with a king sized bed, safe and a flat TV. Outside and the villa area, there was a pool table and tables set up to just watch people do the "south beach" thing. It's in walking distance to everything. My husband is already planning another trip and a plans to stay at this hotel, (the VILLA) portion. It's more expensive, but worth the penny. Ask for room 283...it's what I just described.
“great spot”
we stayed overnight before and after a cruise. the first night we had a normal room, the second we ended up with a suite. both rooms were clean and well stocked. two blocks from the beach! the only downside was noise. i'm guessing it's common for buildings of that age in miami to be short on insulation, and sound carries through walls and windows.
“South Beach”
Great location! Parking isn't convenient, but not impossible. Staff was helpful for the most part. Room was great!
“Excellent place to stay”
My stay was short but a sweet experience. The location was walkable distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff were all very helpful. I would go back there anytime.
“Awesome Experience”
I found this hotel to be very conveniently located, very clean and the staff was Very friendly! They made me feel like I didnt want to leave. The staff went out of their way to make it an enjoyable stay! I highly reccomend this hotel to ANYone visiting the South Beach area

We had a wonderful stay at an amazing price. The room had more than we expected. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything about our stay was beautiful. The only small problem was the thumping, pumping music until all hours. (Our room was over the courtyard.) However, we found a solution in ear plugs. Oh, and did I mention that it was in the heart of South Beach? I will return here again and again. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
“Nice stay”
This hotel was close (few blocks) to the express airport bus stop (#150) and was in a nice Miami Beach location. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was allowed to extend check out for an hour, which I appreciated. I definitely recommend this hotel.
“"Good Choice"”
Had a rocky start at first because the room wasn't ready at check in but once checked in everything was great, except for the fact that we went on the weekend of construction rite next door outside of our bedroom. The hotel was a great location, walking distance from everything, we didn't even have to rent a car. I would definitely keep this hotel in mind my next visit to Miami!!!!
