“Wonderful, Cozy Stay!”
I spent 6 days here with my boyfriend and was quite pleased. After the long days out at Vizcaya, walking Lincoln and Collins, taking the Tri-Rail to Ft. Lauderdale...I was happy to say "I can't wait to get home" as that is what I called this place. This is a small hotel and yes it is on the old side, but not in a terrible way. We had a one bedroom suite which was WAY too big for us, but the price was excellent. We had a small walk in kitchen and was happy for the microwave and fridge plus all the utensils and dinnerware. We had a balcony which we used for dinner some nights and for a lovely night of wine drinking. I loved the quiet and privacy that this hotel offered as I don't like noise and am a light sleeper. It is 2 blocks from the noisier Collins and 3 blocks from the beach...lots of taxis and public transport. The bedroom opened onto the balcony which overlooked the courtyard (which served breakfast and dinner). Breakfast was cheese, bread, coffee, orange juice, fruit (jam, butter). It's not extensive, but simple enough to start the day. The courtyard is simple, lush and green and did I say PRIVATE? LOL. There is no bellhop to carry your luggage to the room, but it's only 2 floors off ground level. Ron (gen. manager) was exceptionally helpful in helping with our questions about the area. They were sure to call us a cab to the airport on checkout. Oh...and they have keys - REAL keys. All in all, I loved it here and will recommend. Cheers!
“Family hootel”
Real familyplace. Apartementos was tide and we loved our stay beside palmtrees, but near ocean and town restaurants. Personel, exspecially Madam, were unvisiable in a good way. We liked and can recommed..
“Fabulous little boutique hotel”
Fabulous little boutique hotel right outside of ritzy area in the famous South Beach area, 2 blocks from beach (Atlantic Ocean), walking distance to whatever... This hotel was something: our one "room" was an apartment: a was huge bedroom with full bath, living room with 2 couches, a half bath and a full kitchen, a front deck with patio furniture, beach towels included. Our friends had same layout but only one bathroom but an extra closet. Gorgeous wood floors, beautiful drapes, huge windows. Hair dryer was included (in the bathroom cupboard.) We had inner courtyard rooms so it was very quiet. Guests were friendly and very quiet. We got a little cold at night (we had the air conditioner (A/C)on too high) and used the towels as blankets. The next night, we figured out that we only needed to use the A/C in the kitchen and not in the bedroom, and then the temperature was just right. There was a courtyard with a real live pet tortoise, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, and breakfast buffet. (The proprietress even did our laundry for $5 so we could start our cruise all fresh and clean.) Also there was a restaurant (more like home cooking) but we were out every night so we did not try it. Cost: per night was a bargain! Only downer: baths need to be updated. Parking is across the street in a public lot. We loved this hotel and will definitely return. L & L from San Francisco.
“Would certainly go back.”
The hotel was vry good... great room, very spacious and well mantained. Not far at all from the beach and Lincoln Rd (shopping and restaurants). My only complain was the shower... not really that good fr a beach hotel, but everything else was great and I would certainly be back.
“Great place!”
Great place to stay in Miami Beach. Slightly off the beaten path so it's nice and quiet. Very clean, LARGE rooms. I was on an 85 night vacation and this was the most comfortable bed I had the entire time. Staff is great. Would definitely stay here again. Short walk to all the SoBe highlights.
“Quaint "boutique" hotel”
This was a great little hotel for the money. We would definitely stay here again. We were here for 2 days for the SOBE Food and Wine Festival. The location was not bad, not far from the beach and restaurants. Deana was very nice, she called us by name when we were coming and going. The continental breakfast was nice enough - just fruit, 2 kinds of cheese and some bread that you could toast, and coffee & OJ. The only downside is that the walls are THIN! If there are guests in the courtyard at night talking at a normal level - you WILL hear them! Our room was great though. It had a kitchen, living room, bedroom with a king size bed and a very small bathroom. We also had a patio with a small table and chairs right off the courtyard and also right off the spa (which we did hear every word of the guests that were in it at midnight!) All and all, we will stay here again when we visit Miami Beach.
“Would love to go back and stay longer!!”
I loved the old building. It was very exciting to stay there. We walked to beach and everything is very close. It's very nice to see they are renovating these old buildings, it's like going back in time. Food was very good. the courtyard was beautiful. The people where very helpful and friendly.
“Made the stay great”
I stayed at Sadigo Court with my boyfriend for five nights in July 2009, we had a great time there! The room was big and clean, and it had all the equipment we needed for cooking. The WiFi didn't work in our room on the highest floor, which was a disapointment, but it worked if we walked down to the lobby or if we sat outside in the backyard. The backyard was really great, picturesque and cosy; the breakfast they served there was good, a little low on protein though. Otherwise full of fruit, bread, coffee, cheese etc. The hotel is a five minute walk to the beach, perfect! Couldn't be better. The short distance made us go home for lunch and rest a little bit before we walked back to the beach. It was so warm outside so it was nice to have a break inside in the air. The hotel was 15 minute walk to the big local food store, where you also could take a cab for only a couple of dollars if you wanted. I absolutely recommend to stay here, nice staff, clean and comfy, close to the beach, a food store and the shopping streats. It was great to have a kitchenette and a big place to stay at.
“The Sadigo Court was absolute perfection!”
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sadigo Court for a long weekend in November. I was in Florida for business, and decided to venture to South Beach for a long weekend. I had heard mixed things about South Beach in general, and we were slightly concerned that the scene may be a little too wild for us (mid-twenties). We were pleasantly surprised, and really left feeling that South Beach was an absolutely great vaca spot. We went to great dinners (Prime 112 and Joe's Stone Crab), had great drinks after, and didn't feel the need to stay out until 5am. Our stay at the Sadigo Court could not have been better. It was reasonably priced for the great location, extremely clean, and the rooms were so comfortable and spacious. Not to mention, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We are totally looking forward to our next visit to South Beach, and wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than the Sadigo Court!
“Great location and great for families”
This hotel is really well located, easy walking distance to attractions / restaurants etc, nice people, the rooms are really large with separate kitchen / dining and living areas. The breakfasts are simple but very good (fruit, toast, etc). The courtyard is a great area and really adds to the rooms and the general feel of the place. The kitchens don’t have working stoves or ovens (they are there but have been disconnected), but do have a microwave, which worked fine for us. We were travelling with our son and this place was ideal. We were there for over a week and really enjoyed our stay.
