Centrally located on Ocean Drive, the Room Mate Waldorf Towers is within two miles of the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall, six miles from the Port of Miami, and seven miles from downtown. Across the street from the hotel, Lummus Park has a white-sand public beach, volleyball courts, a bike path, and children's playground. Complimentary beach towels are provided by the hotel. Guests enjoy discounted rates at a fitness center within a half-mile of the hotel, providing strength-training equipment, treadmills, stationary bikes, and free weights. “great spot .”
good hotel, great location . your in the middle of it all .
“Comfortable Hotel”
I would stay here at the Waldorf again. The room is small but its perfect for just a weekend for partying and fun. Three of us tayed inthe room and was comfortable. Your visting Miami not the hotel. Clubs shutdown at 4 A.M. I spent no time in the room but evertime I came back the cleaning people had done a good job of replenishing everything and making the beds. I enjoyed meals at the outdoor restaurant. Our neighbors were young and there partying as well so we never saw them we didnt bother them they didnt bother us. This is a good hotel 1-3 people max in the room not a family type location. The room swipe key does need to be replaced and be careful walking up and down the steps!
“South Beach Heaven”
This was our first time staying on South Beach. BEST DECISION MADE! Was upgraded to the suite at no charge because the elevator was broken. Location was great, right next to Mangos! Service and valet, excellent. Brought our car around anytime we needed. Definitely would recommend to my friends.
“Excellent location”
This place was PERFECTLY situated! It was my first time to South Beach and I would DEFINITELY stay here again. It isn't a quiet location in the evening, but most likely you aren't staying here for quiet. :)
“AMAZING!!!”
I was most impressed with this hotel. The location could not have been better and the front desk staff where incredibly friendly and animated to help. The room was clean and with all the comforts. Was a little loud at night but nothing out of this world. I would absolutly saty here again and recomend it to all my friends. Amazing location and staff!
“Very Nice for the Price”
This hotel is right on the heart of Ocean Drive. Great location! Next door to Mangos Cafe..
“Did the Job”
The hotel was small, but worked well for a short stay. The AC worked very good, and everything was clean. The location was great, and the price was reasonable. The restaraunt in the lobby had great breakfast and lunch specials that were extremely less expensive than the surrounding options. I would stay again.
“Room Mate Waldorf Towers”
The hotel was as expected. Our room was nice... small but nice. Our view was of a side street (off of Ocean Drive). Our room was relatively quiet considering the Hotel's location on Ocean Drive. The view is of a side street, and you will get the occasional sound of people honking their horns early in the AM... but nothing too bad. I'd stay here again. Oh... the elevator is the smallest I'd ever seen. But it added to the Hotel's charm. I had an issue with the valet being kinda rude, but I can't hold that against the hotel.
“Location, Location, Location”
No problems whatsoever. Very friendly staff and location was fantastic. Room was fine for sleeping and large enough to stay in. No complaints from us.
“right in the middle”
right in the center of everything. Wet willies a block away beach right across the street. Shops around the corner. This is an artsy restaurant hotel, but the food isn't spectacular. I thought the room was small but modern and cool splashes of color--West Palm or ikea like furniture. Loved the frosted glass sink. It really looks like the photos. Mini-bar available not too expensive. The halls could be more kept but loved the old elevator--it was slow but worked. Basically, clean, had everything necessary including pantene shampoo and expensive razors gratis. Best of all close to everything. Served its purpose if you're spending little time indoors.
