“Wonderful Boutique Hotel”
Really nice hotel! Filled with many interesting objects and great finishing touches in the rooms, which were dark, yes, but almost refreshing considering the bright Miami sun. We would definitely head back! Great location, barely 3 minutes from the beach and all the main shopping. Wouldn't call the pool a swimming pool but it was great for a dip.
“Excellent Hotel!”
The location is great, excellent customer service from hotel staff. The pool is small, yet clean, and the breakfast by the pool is nice - not very diverse, however, it is free. (The only problem is parking, the hotel does not have their own, and nearby parking lot is $32 per night. The valet staff speak poor English, are not polite and drive cars as if it is rally race. )
“We are looking forward to going back, had a great stay, staff is wonderfu!!:)”
The room was nice, roomy and clean. The staff was excellent in managing all our needs. They were extremely helpful, a special mention, Natasha who is at the reception, a real gem, with a smile, always ready to help. Located conveniently for travel to all main areas such as Bayside, South Beach and shopping. The beach is about 2 blocks from the hotel. Nice surprise, there is coffee in the lobby, and can they make a mean cappuccino. We definitely recommend this hotel.
“Great hotel”
Excellent hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Staff very helpful and friendly. Short walk to the beach and entertainment.
“Mind blowingly gorgeous !!!”
What an amazing dream holiday! When we entered the room, we could not believe our eyes! It was gorgeous, spacious, sexy and at the same time so homey. We almost did not want to leave the room. The beautifully designed suite with Hotel's celebratory surprise for our anniversary made our trip magnificent, not to mention the other perks the hotel provides like free shuttle, breakfast, beach chairs, beach towels etc. The staff especially Johanne with her bubbly and ever helping attitude made our stay wonderful. I have travelled a lot all my life and have been to almost the entire western and Central Europe, 13-15 Cities of the US, many Caribbean 5 star resorts but the room at Riviera was one of the top two rooms we have been at out of all these destinations. I actually stayed in the No.2 hotel (trip advisor rating) of New York city this year in July but I must say Riviera's rooms were far more magnificent than theirs. Lilu, you have a very beautiful property there and all kudos to you and your staff. Once again, we thank you for making us feel so special, loved and pampered with your outstanding hospitality. Guys, go and stay in their suites and you will absolutely love it!!
“1 night stay”
Really nice place close to the beach ,free wifi also included is a decent breakfast, and a happy hour with free drinks from 7 to 8 pm. but they add a 15$ surcharge on your hotel bill for some kind of resort fee,the parking is valet only and that cost another 35$. tried to find a cheaper parking but its pretty much the same price everywhere in that section of town.
“Great little spot BYOB”
I find booking hotels in South Beach to be a difficult task. It can be a risky venture, so I was very pleasantly surprised by this quiet little spot. The rooms were dark...yes, but I really don't find that to be a big deal. We had a one bedroom suite w/kitchenette, which was clean, nicely decorated and a perfect size. Only minutes walk to the beach and Lincoln Ave and about 20-25 mins to Ocean Ave. The courtyard w/small pool was so pretty and quaint and people who moan about this are ridiulous. The ocean is only two blocks away, you shouldn't be sitting by a pool all day anyways! The hotel does not have their liqour license yet or a restaurant on site, but there are plenty of places to purchase alcohol and about 500 restaurants within a short walk. If you're looking for a massive hotel with overpriced rooms you never hang out in, and room service and drinks that cost you a fortune then this probably isn't for you...but as a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day and open up a bottle of wine that hasn't been marked up 200%, then it's perfect. Did I mention that the staff was really wonderful as well?
“Pretty good stay”
Good Points: *They upgraded our room when we got there- huge room with lounge area, 2 big screen TVs, very comfy king size bed-probably one of the best I've slept in, large bathroom, very chic contemporary design *staff is friendly and helpful *clean Bad Points: *Walls are thin-can definitely hear everything *Bed linens are not changed daily *towel supply varies throughout the week *Rooms are very, very dark
“Great location!!”
We were looking for a hotel near the beach and this was it! Close to beach, shopping and dining, yet a couple streets off main so it was quiet for sleeping. Truly a relaxing atmosphere and we did enjoy the decor! Yes, pool was smaller than most commercial hotels but the decor around it more than made up for it. Still large enough for a dip!! Breakfast by the pool was relaxing and charming! Only drawbacks for us were - need another mirror and some additional lighting in the main room and closet where safe is (could not see it!!). Also, as we were 4 in our group, the pullout not too comfy. The hotel staff were awesome the entire stay. Winston makes the best latte!! We will most definitely be back!!
“Lovely Suite with nice decor”
I really like the decor and setting of the suite, it's very comfy and unique, and the people working there are very nice and welcoming as well. The only problem with the hotel is the wi-fi, it was a bit unstable but other than that, my friends and I are definitely satisfied with the hotel, and we'll recommend others as well.
