“good location and good service”
i was really impressed with this hotel.
“Wonderful Stay”
My stay at the Pelican was very enjoyable. We arrived early and although our room was not ready, the hotel informed us when it was ready and offered to hold our luggage while we elpored the area. The Pelican Beach area was wonderful, after going on our last day (after checkout) I wish I had gone my entire 4 day stay. They had oversized chairs with cushions...lovely. The only thing is..when you go, expect a lot of traffic as sometimes it's like a club walking to the elevators. But I loved it!!
“The staff was awesome, they are all from Italy and are such great people to be around.”
The staff was great and the food was the best Italian food I have had. I can not wait to go back.

The hotel was exactly where you want to be in South Beach, well priced and the food at the cafe downstairs was awesome.
“Great Location, Great Ambiance”
really enjoyed our stay. beach is directly across lovely Ocean Dr and they provide an umbrella and 2 chairs, which is great. location is convenient walking distance to good restaurants, shops -- lounges/clubs are a few blocks away on Collins/Washington. A wonderful hotel when you want a chic place and don't require pool/health club.
“Refreshing alternative”
Hotel owned by the owners of Diesel Jeans. Every room is different and designed around a theme (quite innovative). Hotel is ideally located: seafront in the middle of Art Deco district. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant (italian/asian) is well above US average and has a very complete wine list. I would recommend the restaurant for breakfast and dinner (terrace). I would definitely return.
“South Beach style”
The Pelican Hotel in South Beach was Miami cool. On Ocean Drive, we were across from the beach, which was great clean white sand and warm and clear water. A nice touch of the hotel was they gave you the beach towels at the front desk and on the beach was waiting chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests. Each room had it's own personality, so you could stay there for many vacations and get a totally different room experience. It's so nice to stay at a hotel with personality and The Pelican Hotel had plenty personality. We loved the hotel and would recommend it to all!

“Trendy casual chic hotel”
Very trendy place, owned by the owner of Diesel. Very trendy and cool but not necessarily to everyone's taste. Fantastic location in the centre of all nightlife...
“Jan 2009 stay”
This is a terrific quirky hotel in the Art Deco style. The rooms are small, but adequate for a short stay. Terrific staff and the lunch is one of the best we had on our trip.
