“Good hotel”
I was a bit scared to come in this hotel because of the bad reviews... But my stay at the ocean surf hotel was great! It is really quiet, you have a good breakfast, the staff is really helpful. Even if it is a little bit far from South Beach, you can take the bus and there is a bus that drives you directy at the airport. The room was ok for the price we paid, there was a mini fridge, a hair dryer. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the bathroom. But except that, I had a great time in this hotel!!!
“Excellent Location, Worth for money”
Location is excellent in miami beach and all food market are in walking distance. Worth for money but I have to pay additional $11 per day for my car parking

The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful. The location was excellent, only a few steps to the gorgeous beach. Only a 15 - 20 minute bus ride to South Beach. We upgraded to get a balcony and it was worth it. the only problem was the parking meter process. You could buy a tag from the hotel for a day but we still got a ticket. And the machines that are supposed to take your credit cards did not work. I suggest using coins in the meter, which we got from the front desk. Overall I would stay again due to the location and the staff.
“Oldie but goodie.”
The appearance of this hotel is old but it provides what you you need--beds that are comfortable, a small fridge, and the room looks old but is clean. We came early and they locked up our luggage for us. We liked the breakfast on the porch--bagels with cream cheese, sweet buns, cold cereal, OJ, and coffee. Across the street from the beach! Nice restaurants within walking distance. Busses nearby. No complaints from us!!

besides of not being impress at all by the conditions of the hotel my truck was broken into which gives me an impression that that is a bad area.

This Hotel was excelent. The area is quiet. But near of the hotel you can found the Nighlife of Miami.

Right across the street from the beach!! That's what initally sold me. Although many people may find the hotel to be low budget, I found it quite comfortable for the amount that we paid. It's cheap, hundreds of restaurants are in walking distance, right across the street from the beach, and the service is great! The continental breakfast wasn't so appetizing, but hey -- it's free! What else can you expect?! They moved us up into a room where we had a balcony after our original room was not finished being cleaned when we arrived. But what a BEAUTIFUL VIEW!! It was very nice of the woman to do that. She was very helpful as well -- suggested places to eat, shop, etc. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Ocean Surf Hotel. I can guarantee you that we will stay there again if we come back to Miami. Give this little hotel a chance.
