“LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!”

The hotel lobby was the first surprise. It was so much bigger and more posh than we expected! The partial ocean view room was great with a fabulous view of the beach and the pool. The entire property was very clean. The sofa bed could stand to be replaced but the bed was very comfy. We all enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on in the morning. For the price this hotel should not be passed over. We were all delighted with the accomodations and the value for money. Don't think twice! Avoid the restaurant on the pier. The cooking was worse than my own and that says a lot. It was served up on paper plates which only added to our disappointment. Do try the coffee shop across the road and to the left of the hotel. Great coffee and breakfast/ lunch goodies. The bus stops right outside the door for those of you who chose not to drive. For $2 you can ride to South Beach! Just the ride is interesting alone. Have fun! g

“Right for the price”

The room was not as great as described, but the beach right behind the hotel makes up for it! The beach is so nice, although the guys who get chairs for guest don't help unless you are throwing money at them. Also, we went on a Subnday and there was a "Pool Party" with a DJ, the guys running the party were very rude and would not let me enter the hotel b/c I was not on thier guest list(I had just checked in). They made me walk all the way back to the beach to get my room key(I left it behind with my friends) while all I needed was to use the restroom.

Me and my wife were there for one night. Great hotel, we got a room with ocean view. Which made everything even better.

I'm looking forward to my next Miami trip so I can stay at this hotel again, great location for us, as it was our first time there and places I wanted to go were pretty close by. Beach was nice and clean, we received two free coctails in a welcome package which we used on the beach, there was a waitress going around taking orders that was a bonus. Pool was quite small but I liked the ocean just as well. We did not eat at the hotel but the menu looked good, as I did read through it. The resturant in the lobby had some sort of entertainment every night. Great hotel and location, always something to do and right on the beach was a bonus.

The Newport Beachside is a great little hotel, I have stayed there 3 times and plan on going back next year. Some of the rooms have been remodeled and I was lucky enough to get a remodeled room this year however the other 2 times we stayed in the old rooms, not the best décor very out dated, however the way we look at it as long as it is CLEAN you don’t spend that much time in the room so it’s worth the price.. Love the fact that you have beach access just off the pool deck. Lots of activities on the pool however we are from the Midwest and have never spent a minute at the pool we go to Florida for the beach!! Love the location easy drive from the Fort Lauderdale Airport and easy drive to South Beach. My one worry is that they are selling people Time Shares and I’m sure if they get enough people to buy into that then we may lose it as just a friendly hotel. Love the place hope you do to. “Perfect for kids...”

The absolute perfect hotel for families with kids of all ages. Poolside bingo, tropical hairbraiding, sandcastle contests, etc... Playground on the beach, trampoline, climbing wall, outside pool table, small puttputt golf by the pool. More for kids than any hotel I/ve ever stayed. Adults have a 6ft deep pool and tiki bar...need I say more. No need for car, walking distance to stores and restaurants...Not elegant but very very nice. We will be back.

“Great Hotel”

Great hotel and staff was great just as on our first visit. Great value and pool and beach was unbelieveable I have recommended it to several friend and they loved hotel too. Super value right on the ocean, you could spend twice as much, but why would you? Also, food was great and breakfast was smoking!!!
