“Comfortable stay.”
Close to airport. Clean and affordable. Very helpful and courteous staff. Free breakfast and free shuttles to and from the airport and to the cruise dock. No shops close to hotel but shuttle drivers drop off and pick up guests at a nearby gas/convenience store. Staff arranges local city and specialty tours if requested. All and all a comfortable stay for us.

“Not shabby at all”
Expected the worse based on previous reviews. We were impressed. Hotel was nice. Room was clean. Service was excellent. Great for stay before/after Cruise. The accomodations are exceptional and the staff went out of their way to assist us.
“Nice and comfortable”
Front desk and check in was very fast and easy. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. Furnishing and decor was very nice. Will stay at La Quinta again.
“We could almost walk to the airport! Great location!”
Very nice hotel for the price. BEST location for an airport exit or pick-up, although a bit difficult to reach because of so many converging highways. However, the directions given were good, so after a slight error, we made it ok. The rooms were large, bright, well furnished and clean. Good internet connections and great flat-screen TV. The location was safe enough, and within walking distance to restaurant. .
“Wonderful place to stay!! :-)”
Check-in was quick and easy; everyone was very courteous. My room was extremely clean and comfortable; I could have spent the whole day there, just relaxing! I checked in too late to see/use the pool but I'm guessing, if it is in keeping with the rest of what I saw, that it too, was clean and inviting. The hotel was quiet and the bed was wonderful. Breakfast was opened promptly at 6 and there was a whole array of choices. I made my own waffle, but there was also toast, cereal, and muffins. Loved the juice and fresh fruit. Only negative was, my tea water (from a thermos) was not hot, but that is a small complaint! Shuttle was on time and very handy to use. Check-out was as fast and easy as check-in was. No problems whatsoever. If I go to Miami again, I will definitely stay there!
“Excellent place for the money.”
We stayed at this hotel for only one night before our cruise. I had read other reviews and decided that not only was it a great price but that we also got a complementary continental breakfast and complementary shuttle service to the Port of Miami, those two things alone would easily have cost us another $60 so a real bargain. The hotel had seen a lot of traffic over the years but was clean, the staff was very friendly and the king size bed was soooooo comfy. I would definately stay there again and highly recommend it.

“Excellent Quality - Bang for the Buck & Location”
Upon arrival in Miami to the La Quinta Inn Miami Airprt East which is only (10) ten minutes from the Airport. We discovered the hotel was fully booked because of its close location to the Miami Airport and Miama Port Auithority for Cruise Ships. We had booked a Non-Smoking Room but to our surprise upon arrival due to Booking mix-up we had been placed in a Smoking Room. With the Hotel fully booked - we had no choice but to accept the room. The next morning after reporting the incident to the Hotel Front Desk Clerk upon Check-In - he had the Hotel Manager call us the next morning and apolize for the mix-up in our booking. The Hotel Manager offered us a Free (1) Night Credit certificate for future lodging for a Room for our inconvience the night before.We also enjoyed the excellent Continential Breakfast included in the price of lodging at the hotel. I would recommend this Hotel for those on a Budget and because it the Hotels close proximate location to the Miami Airport with( Free Shuttle to the Hotel ) and ( Free Shuttle )to the Port Authority for Cruise Ships.
“Great place for Cruise launch”
From the shuttle service to housekeeping service, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The continental breakfast was exceptional as well.
