“nothing fancy but a great location”

The hotel is nothing fancy and a little dated but the location is amazing. Close to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road and right in the heart of Collins. Given we were here for New Year's there wasn't much sleeping going on or sitting in the hotel room - for a place to crash at the end of the night you can't beat the location or the cheaper price. I've stayed here twice now for the same purpose (New Year's) and will probably stay again for Independence Day weekend.

I stayed at the hotel during the December art fairs. It is well located for all the fairs on South Beach. It met my expectations-good location, clean and comfortable room, decent bathroom. Liked being able to park in front for $20.00/day extra. Nice lobby area. Staff was accomidating. Have kitchenette, which could come in handy.

“Perfect hotel for Art Basel”

It is an art deco hotel, near the fabulous Lincoln Road and the Miami Beach Convention Center. The facade neon lights give the rooms an exotic atmosphere. Conveniet price. Great location, the Art Basel buzz happens in Collins road.

Room was small, bed small, cheap furnishings. Location was great.

“Truly Great Location, Helpful Staff”

I was a little scared by some of the reviews at first but I'm totally glad I chose this hotel. We were down for Art Basel and the hotel prices were inflated all around; Haddon Hall was not only affordable but amazingly convenient - a block from the beach, a 5-minute walk to Lincoln Road, Jerry's (24-hour) Deli right next door, plus a surprisingly quiet and comfortable room. There was some problem with the key-cards but aside from that, the staff were truly laid-back and sweet. I'm not sure what some of the poor reviews were expecting - this is not a 5-star hotel, but if you need a decent place for a great price in a truly awesome location, Haddon Hall is a great find.

“Great hotel for the price!”

Haddon Hall is a great place to stay in SoBe for those on a budget. The Pool was an unexpected pleasure, spotless and spacious. The room was adequate but room service was quick and thorough. All this hotel needs is a little TLC and an updated renovation and it could charge twice the price. Perfect location also.

“Great Location if you're going to beach or partying but nothing "nice" about it.”

I love the look of the hotel (from the outside). But it appears that this hotel hasnt been updated or freshened in decades. The location is perfect for singles or partyers who want to hit the beach or the clubs- but if you are even remotely a hotel snob then you need to keep looking. The room I was in was clean but the rugs, bedspreads, towels and chairs looked very dingy and worn out. The staff was fine though I didn't ask for anything from them. I was by myself and enjoying the beach so I didn't care too much about the "look" but I was too embarassed to let any friends stop by to visit and see the small ugly room since they were staying in much nicer hotels. If I were with my family I would have had to rebook somewhere else- as they would have been unhappy. Too bad no one buys the hotel and makes it into the showplace it probably was at one point and could be again.

Excellent location! Infrastructure somewhat run down but location is everything. Great price for excellent location.

The hotel have a great location , just one block near to de beach , and very close for nice restaurants , and night clubs. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for something cheap and convenient.
