I liked accomodations, great location and very good restaurant. People working there is also very kind.

I was nervouse after checking the reviews on other sites. But surprisingly the hotel was better than expected. I really like the location and the staff. I have to say the staff members that I enjoyed was a Haitian young man at the pool and one at the door , the bartenders (happy hour was 4 to 7 with 2 drinks for one price and snacks!!) and the cleaning lady. They were so nice to us and always remembered what we needed from the day before. I thought the location (with a GREAT nightclub 2 doors down and a local place to get cheap, wonderful tasting breakfast..about a block or so toward the Howard Johnson's) was very good. It is Miami so busy and loud go with the territory. But we had a great time and definately would go back.

“lighting”

The hotel was well kept and comfortable. The only problem was the lighting in the room was very poor.

a lot of noise on the pool because workers building a tower close to the hotel. Nice direct access to the beach Very poor pool towels

“I am going to tell you the real truth”

I don't know why others reviwed this hotel so bad. It was pretty nice! The elevator was small and slow but you will live. It was about 7 minutes from main South Beach and only a few bucks in cab. I would advise asking for a ocean view, who knows what you will be looking at if you don't. I am use to staying in 4 star and above this was the same!! PROBLEM was I informed staff in advance I had a 7hour delay and would arrive REAL late. They said my doom was guareented. Well when I got ther at 2am there were no more rooms, they accomidated me in a 2 diamond rated motel. VERY gross. Oh and by the way they gave me no transportation and told me its not far JUST WALK. mind you at 2 in the morning! Other that the motel everthing was fine!!!!

I wouldn't change a thing. Room, bed, and the view were excellent.
