“Amazing Beautiful Hotel For a Great Price!! Can't Wait to Come Back”
I can't say how much I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!! I walked into it and was blown away. It gave such a different atmosphere than most normal hotels. I felt like I was staying in a classy expensive hotel, when actually the rates were very affordable! The place was beautiful, rich colors and chic designs! The beds were very comfortable, and when I stayed it was very quiet. I loved the IHome it was so convienent to use while getting ready to go out to clubs or get ready for the beach! Another great aspect is that it is right in the middle of everything. Only a couple blocks from the beach, hotels, so many different restaurants, shops, etc. The staff was very kind and nice to my friend and I and I will definately go right back to that hotel next year! Hopefully even sooner in summer!
“New hotel, perfect location in South Beach”
My 2 adult daughters and I stayed at the Fashionhaus Hotel for one week in July 2011. The hotel was 6 months old. Everything was new and super clean. The beds were very comfortable, airconditioning worked well and they offered free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Most of all, NO carpets anywhere in the hotel which is ideal in my opinion. Very nicre staff. The Washington Ave and 5th Street location was ideal. Very close to the beach but far from the evening and night noise of Ocean Blvd. Within a 3 block radius, we had plenty of restaurants, shops, a Walgreen, ice cream, grocery, bike rental, scooter rental, etc. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel and public transportation was very efficient and easy. Easy walking distance to South point. Two buildings away from the hotel was a tourist info/tour/rent-a-car company that took us to the Everglades + airboat tour all included for 38$ each. When we were there (July 2011) the hotel seemed about ready to open the restaurant on the ground floor and seemed to be building a outside terrace on the second floor rooftop (which is going to be absolutely wonderful when it is ready). Although there was no pool or dining area in the hotel, we were 100% satisfied and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to our best friends. Would go back anytime. If you are looking for a 5-star luxury hotel, this is not the place. If you are looking for a more than adequate place to stay in South Beach, then don't hesitate.
“cute room”
I thought the room was a bit small but it was clean. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. The location was bit off but we didn't mind the walk. I would go back even thought the room was very small and the bathroom was also very small. The room has a safe and lighting was a bit off as well.
“Cute on a Budget Hotel”
This hotel's location was perfect. The hotel smelled great. The staff could have been better. The staff had wack attitudes.There is no mircowaves no ice machines which really suck. The have a sitting area outside which you are not allowed to go on which was pointless. The rooms were a bit stuffy and the air was NOT COLD ENOUGH. This hotel is good for a short stay for with only 2 in a room. This is not for a family or 4 or more people in the room. VERY SMALL and the rooms look nothing like they do on the website. Other than that its clean and affortable be aware that that hold over $300 on your card.
“Russian Feel”
Overall it was pretty nice, my friend loved the shower pressure, beds were clean & comfy, rooms are small but not bad. Hotel felt very Russian and staff added to this feel by being slightly snobby but still managed to be helpful. Cool decor. Close to the beach & shopping & food
“It was ok”
The hotel was neatly decorated. Location was not too bad - 2 blocks from the beach, sort of far from the nightlife (Lincoln Road). Our room was right next to the lobby so we heard everything - every foot step, people talking - every night! This place is perfect if you are on a budget!
“not for families”
The hotel is beautiful and really well located for those who want to enjoy EVERYTHING on South Beach. But if you are going with family DON'T STAY in this hotel. We heard the party goers all night long, heels, laughs, music and screams. It is great for those who are there to party, really close to the beach but, save your money and don't leave your car with the valet, after waiting an hour for my car I had to go get it myself and found out they had lost my keys...
“Value for money”
Double room was fairly small but it was equiped well enough. The staff were helpful when approached but overall weren't particularly friendly otherwise. Nice enough hotel in a good location if you're after value for money.
“Miami Trip”
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel had no parking available on site but provided valet parking instead which the cost was comparable to a public parking structure. The bathroom was nice and updated but needed more attention to detail in cleaning because the walls had stains which were not pleasant to look at while brushing your teeth. Also the linen had small stains, thank goodness they were located at the very edge of the bed. This hotel was a little more pricey than the others we researched and I guess we expected a little more. Overall my family had a nice stay.
“Complete Rip-Off in Bad Location-Do Not Stay Here”
I felt comfortable bordering unsafe as a woman staying alone in this hotel. It is a shabby property, in a bad location, almost a seedy location with no Southbeach glamor and all sorts of unsavory characters milling about. The rooms were dank, humid and the entire hotel is shabby.
