A weekend getaway

My girlfriend and I plans for Miami changed almost let minute ,so we decided to go to South beach. I chose the Esplendor Hotel Breakwater after reading some reviews. Well to my surprise the hotel was great The staff starting with Natalie was fantastic and helpful .We did have some minor issues with a sink and the door ,maintenance was on it within minutes with no inconvenience to us. Food was great ,room was clean. Pool was fun . The hotel seems like the place to be great entertainment . Again fun. We stayed Courtyard so it is loud, we however loved it and when we did go to bed we had no problem at all sleeping . Thank You NATALIE and staff you made our stay great , we will see you again in the winter

Pros: The service and room was awesome.
Cons: Move the hotel about a mile away from the noise.
Location: Do not party on Ocean Drive. They rip you off. Naked Taco-2 blocks up and one block inland was awesome and way cheaper.
I just got back from a cruise. I wanted to relax and rest and sleep. I got 5 hours of sleep over 2 days. South Beach is LOUD. The hotel was great but the noise, i.e. techno, was blaring until 4am. I cannot go back there.

Nice hotel pleasant staff. Directly in the middle of all the clubs. Don't expect the loud music to stop until approximately 4:30 AM. They tell you 15 minutes ahead for valet service. Our's was one hour five minutes.

Cons: the plumbing
Location: restaurants,beach and shopping very close
when ever the toilet was flushed the pipes would make loud banging noise for hours.hard to sleep with this noise at night.

We had an amazing experience. Natalie was awesome and very acommodating making our stay a great experience we are definitely going back and staying there again!!

Art Deco hotel in the middle of South Beach

Pros: Classic Art Deco style.
Cons: Furnishing could use updating.
Location: Close to restaurants, shopping and the beach.
Hotel is in the middle of South Beach and close to all the action. Our room was on third floor at the back and we could still hear the band playing next door. Great place if you want to party.

Great location

This hotel is extremely beneficial to all individuals who want to stay and explore South Beach.Miami beach is across the street and all of the hotspots such as Clevelander, Mangoes, Fat Tuesday are literally no more than a 5 min walk. In addition to its convenient location and great ambience, they also serve free breakfast, which helps a little for those who don't want to spend too much.

Everything; it was great. The view, the accessibility, the staff, the great pillows; the pillows are unreal; it is the only reason to go to sleep.

Nice location, amenities ok

The room is fine. There was a bench at the end of our bed, but no couches. Just 1 chair by the desk. Bathroom was nice, but only 1 sink. We stayed in the North building. The elevator was old, but secure. The hallway looked old. The rooftop terrace was nothing like the photo. The cushions were wet and there wasn't a single umbrella. The bar was closed.
