“Pleasant vacation”
Not too noisy Right on Ocean Ave Terrace has beautiful views of the beach Rooms basically fairly large studio apartments with kitchenette Staff is professional and kind Not a party hotel which was great for relaxation The ONLY thing i didn't like about this hotel was their shower. They have this open shower with a very slim glass partition so water just gets everywhere. I am an interior designer and although I agree it looks nice.. TERRIBLE in terms of function.
“Great hotel, amazing location, very reasonable price!”
Great hotel with an ideal location! We were upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom suite. I was pleasantly surprised to see how spacious the room was. The kitchen was very useful (medium-size fridge, stove, sink, and cabinets), although it wasn't equiped with any utensils to cook with. The bed was extra comfy, and I liked the nice furniture and bathrooms. Great that you can hang out on the rooftop (and have the option of having a drink there during their happy hour). The hotel is still under some renovations, but it wasn't inconvenient. I had an amazing time, and I couldn't be happier with the reasonable price for a beachfront hotel on South Beach. I plan on staying there again!
“Would stay here again”
Amazing location. The Edgewater is right in the middle of South Beach. If you are looking for an area that dosen't have alot of pedestrian traffic, this is not the hotel for you. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel. You just cross Ocean Drive and you are on the beautifiul beach. As you are booking your trip do not forget the resort fee upon check in. It is not included in your price. The fee does include quite a few things. From 0700 - 1000 they serve a very nice breakfast on the 5th floor over looking the ocean. Your fee also includes beach towel and beach chairs. Finally from 6 - 7 pm they have happy hour on the roof. One hour of all you can drink beer and wine. Be prepared for a heafty fee if you are going to valet park. I would call the hotel ahead of time to get the latest fee and weigh that into wheter or not to get a rental car. Overall we had a great stay and would both stay there again and reccomend the hotel.
“Awesome time”
Very friendly service from start. When arrived Rafael was extremly helpful. He helpwith everything from renting scooters to get around to showing where the night lounges are. All in all, I was satisfied with the whole miami beach experience.

Hotel Edgewater South Beach idealement situé et super agréable, le personnel est sympathique et disponible. la chambre est propre, spatieuse, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. un peu sombre mais après tout vu le temps qu'on y reste.... l'hôtel situé face a la plage, vue merveilleuse , pret de serviettes et de fauteuils de plage très pratique ! Edgewater Hotel ! je recommende !!!!!
“Great Value at Excellent Location”
I spent two nights at the Edgewater Hotel in South Beach on July 2011. Me and my wife needed a hotel that could adjust to our budget not willing to sacrifice Location. We arrived at the hotel way before the check in time. Staff was helpful eventhough they didn´t have a room available they offered us a bathroom to change our clothes, lent us some charis and towels and kept our luggage so we were able to go to the beach. After a couple of hours they informed us our room was ready. I was pleasently surprised when we entered our room. Rooms are spacious and clean. Our room had a kitchenette with a minifridge, a living room with a big sofa and a 42" LCD screen. The bathroom was huge, the main room was spacious as well, it had a small closet and a very comfortable queen size bed. Everything was new and nice and way better of what I have expected for the rate I had been charged especially on a SoBe Hotel. This hotel charges each suite a daly fee which includes WiFi Internet, Breakfast, All You can Drink Happy Hour and Towels and chairs for beach usage. The hotel has some minor issues, the first and most noticeable one is that it doesn´t have a swimming pool but if you are at Ocean Dr on a beach front hotel you wont mind that very much. The other thing I didn´t like too much was the breakfast, it basically consisted on coffee, toast, orange juice and some pastry. But overall I was very pleased with my stay at the edgewater and will surely comeback everytime I´m back at Miami.

“Wonderful Hotel Amazing Rooms”
Overally it was the top two places I have stayed in, in South Beach. The rooms were very spacious, brand new mini suite. Great bathroom and kitchen area. The staff was extremely helpful, to a fault. I arrived early and my room was ready. The afternoon happy hour on the terrace was lovely, despite the rain. And the breakfast in the morning was quite adequate. Personally I like to stay a bit further South on the beach, though the proximity to Lincoln Road is a positive. That being said, it was a great stay.
“Wonderful stay”
Excellent choice for us. I called the hotel to tell them our flight was running late and Ernesto had everything ready for us when we got there, knew us by name, and was extremely friendly and accomodating. Loved the location and our entire stay. We were close to everything, yet the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Beautiful view of the beach from the rooftop terrace, where they had free happy hour (beer and wine) in the evening and continental breakfast in the morning. Would definitely go back.
“Edgewater South Beach Hotel : le meilleur compromis pour Miami Beach”
Emplacement parfait sur Ocean Drive càd juste au début de Lummus Park donc pas de nuissances sonores mais très proche de tous les lieux branchés et animés. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Service charmant et efficace. Seul petit bémol les moquettes sont à changer dans les couloirs et dans les chambres car pleines de taches.
