Overlooking Biscayne Bay is a sundeck with outdoor lap pool and 4 cloverleaf-shaped spa tubs. Treadmills, bikes, stair machines, and a sauna are included in the Grand Health Club, which overlooks the bay. Personal trainers are available (surcharge).
A marina is adjacent to the hotel and fishing excursions are available (surcharge). The Atlantic Ocean and beaches are within 4 miles of the hotel and water-sports equipment can be rented along the beach. “Beautiful room!”
My wife and I were very impressed by our room at the Doubletree. We stayed in a room with two double beds and plenty of space, enormous windows on two walls and a lovely view of the waterfront. We were provided a corner room, the walk from the elevator was a little long but well worth it. We would definitely stay here again!
“New Miami Favorite”
This was our first time staying at the double tree. We had a bay view room with balcony. The room is big, spacious, the bathroom great, the staff great. The hotel lacks it's own in house restaurant, but there are quite a few to choose from in the arcade. The blue moon was a poor place to eat, drinks yes, to eat no. You still have the choice of the next door Marriott restaurant, which i highly recommend. The concierge was very helpful, all the staff was friendly and welcoming. We will come again.
“Simply great!”
Had a brilliant stay at the Doubletree Grand. The only surprise we received was the absolute paucity of public parking available in the area - be prepared to pay $29/day for valet (not including tip). That said, our car was always there within seconds of our request, and the staff were always exceedingly polite. Close to Miami Beach, Virginia Key, and Bill Baggs State Park, a perfect location.
“Can't wait to go back and this one comes highly recommended”
From the time our shuttle pulled up to the Doubletree Grand, the service started. Our luggage was swooped up and we just followed, to be taken to the front desk for check-in. Everyone was very helpful in answering any questions we had, and giving directions. We needed recommendations for dinner and the recommendations were great. The room was really large and had everything you could possible need. They really take care of their travelers. There were so many different photo spots throughout the hotel, it was a real pleasure staying there. The check-out time was later that at a lot of hotels. There were also a lot of services inside the hotel that really made convenience pleasurable. This one comes highly recommended.
“Very impressed”
This hotel is located 5 minutes from South Beach! It had wonderful restuarants and gift shops. I didnt have an opportunity to take advantage of room service, but the hotel does offer it. If you didnt want to eat at the hotel, there were plenty of restuarants in the surronding area.
“Best Hotel, terrific view & definitely want to go back”
The hotel has a terrific view of city of Miami. The location, service, decoration are outstanding. The standard room is huge & very comfortable for 4 people. It closes to the beach & park. We definitely want to stay there again next time.
