“perfect place for beach holidays”

the hotel location is perfect right ON north beach. great view from rooms on the beach and miami beach island. if you want to make relaxing and/or family holidays, this place is perfect. hotel is also in art deco style (like south beach), staff is the nicest in the world. perfect place, without the ripoff of south beach. will definitely go back. can't wait!!

“Can't wait to go bad”

An excellent hotel for those that don't want the touristy feel. The hotel does show it's age but the staff and the surrounding areas make up for that. Right accross from the beach. The beach is quiet not that many people there and we walked out about 100 feet and the water was still to our knees which is great for those that just want to walk in the water or have kids. We even went during spring break and the beach was still quiet... Unlike south beach. The food sound there is very diverse and mostly Ma and Pa shops which generally makes the food more authentic and genuine! Loved the Brazilian place down the street. The food was at a great price too! There is a CVS and a walgreens around the corner too. Can't wait to go back!

Our stay was great. The beach was right there. The pool was clean & very nicely kept. Our overall stay experience was terrific. For parking you pay a small fee per day but you always have a parking spot. Our room was modern, clean and equipped with certain amenities that came in very handy. I recommend it to others, definitley.

the hotel staff were great and very helpful. the room service was fantastic and they cleaned and changed our towels and linen every day . hotel parking was great and we parked ourselves for a small fee ,no valet. the ocean was right out the front door and the beach was always clean and relaxing.

“Average Hotel with Above Average Staff”

The support staff was very helpful. We got there a little early but they took our cell number and called us when a room as ready. They always spoke and smiled when we came in the hotel and the view from our window was beautiful. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Straight shot to South Beach.

It is good Hotel, but you only can check-in after 2PM.but it is not good for the Nightlife,Shopping,but you can easy find the Bus or Car go South Beach, it take 30 min way. I will came back again.

“Perfect for Beach Vacation”

The pool is ok, not too clorinated. There was some construction on the first floor during our stay (Oct '07). Front desk is very helpful! Hotel location is ideal if you plan on hanging out at the beach. It seems to be a high-crime area. We watched about 5 people get arrested from our hotel window! But at least the police presence is heafty. The breakfast-only restaurant attached to the hotel is not free, but not at all expensive. Very delicious! Beware of the cheese omelettes-I think they used 6 eggs! Ha! It was huge! If you rent a car, beware of the crazy Miami drivers. Otherwise a car is much cheaper than a cab. We took the bus one night into South Beach for about $1.50 one way. We found the bus lines confusing, but I think that's just us. Overall, this is a GREAT hotel to stay at. They were very accomodating after the first night of our trip that we spent in the very strange hotel two doors down. Spend the extra couple of bucks and get this hotel.
