“A nice, affordable place to stay in Miami Beach”

I definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool deck with beach access (the hotel is right on the ocean). The hotel - room included - are well maintained and clean. You are not making a mistake choosing this hotel.

“Good hotel for price paid”

The part I liked the most about this hotel was the location. South Beach's beach were dirty and always busy. The beach at this hotel was clean and not so busy. Toilet had a leaking issue. Beds were not comfortable for a hotel. But hotel staff were helpful and nice. Only thing I did not like was the room seemed a bit out dated and not maintained well.

“Good enough for what I paid!”

Room and hotel generally was clean. Some staff were helpful, others definitely not. Lots of internet access problems while I was there, but they made the computers in the lobby 'business centre' free when the internet was not available in the room. Gym is small but has the basic cardio machines, limited free weights and very limited weight machines. Didn't go to the restaurant because no vegetarian/vegan options. Location on the beach was great, but it's a ways from anything else (it's in Middle Beach, not South Beach).

“Close to the beach”

Beautiful beach just steps away and a fantastic italian restaurant called Carrabas 1/2 a block away. The hotel is older but it was clean and affordable. About a $10 taxi ride to Lincoln Street where there was lots of shops. Basically we wanted somewhere to sleep before we flew home.

“Nice Enough Hotel”

We got to the hotel at approx 10:00am after conclusion of a Boat Cruise. Hotel staff were willing to store our luggage until check-in time at 4:00pm. We found the hotel to be clean and in reasonable condition. There was not too much to do around the hotel except for walking the boardwalk and the beach. We were only there for one day, but found it comfortable. Anything closer to South Beach substantially increased in price.

“Older hotel but very very clean”

Hello: This is an older hotel but very very very clean. The rooms are comfortable and clean but keep in mind that the hotel is older. The beds are comfortable also. The water pressure for the shower is just fine. The staff is always courteous, will try to find the answers to your questions. The staff really works hard to make sure that everywhere you go in the hotel it is clean. This hotel is wheel chair accessible. The pool is well maintained. Overall a good hotel to stay at and reasonable prices for this time of the year. You will enjoy your stay here. Viola from Ottawa

“Great if you are there for the beach”

This location is great if you are there for the beach. There is nothing else to do within walking distance. No shops, only a few places to eat, and nothing but other hotels (some of which are closed/boarded up). I would not go out at night with my pre-teen son, unless it was to get into a cab. The room charged a fee for the use of the in room safe regardless of if you use it. They also charge $1 per call, even if it is local. The consierge was very helpful, the front desk staff was not. If you are there to lay on the beach all day this hotel is perfect. Beautiful beach, hotel is right on the boardwalk, couldn't be closer.

“Best Western Atlantic Beach Resort Miami”

hotel is good for the money we paid - pretty clean, concierge and reception staff were corteous and pleasant, the hallway carpet stunk and the elevators were horrible - very slow ( 5 min to close the doors and open, and shook 2x while we were using it). Premises were clean, always towels by the pool, right on great mid-miami beach ( NOT BUSY and clean!), right on bus route to take you to Aventura Mall (S) or down to South Beach or Lincoln Rd - VERY VERY GOOD LOCATION; our room was clean, the bed was small for a king but NO bed bugs/smell; AC worked good, 1 time maid forgot to leave the towels in room; only complaints are the sloooow elevators and stinky hallway carpet, but besides that it was a great place to stay for the price! Breakfast buffet was pricey but food was ok - just walk across the street and down Collins 2 min for a better deal deli/cafe/convenience store ( best Danishes and Cinnamon buns I had in a long time - fresh, they will also make fresh egg/bacon sandwiches there for u and open 7am-midnite). Clean safe area ( 1 street away from expensive Pine Dr houses), we took the bus down to SoBE ($1.50 fare), and cab was around $10-15 for each way to SoBe and back..the beach behind the hotel is EXCELLENT!! clean and not BUSY! KFC, McDonalds and Burger King was down the 41st street across the bridge so this hotel was CLOSE to everything and it was pretty DECENT! They were never out of pool towels and teh pool was clean !

“Nice...but not perfect!”

Very pleasent staff but not "polished". Being Miami Beach and on the "beach side" you have to accept that it is a "reconditioned" old building. We had a great view of the ocean....none better! If you drive there....beware....you have to park your car 2 blocks up the street in a parking garage! The hotel staff forgot to tell us to bring back our ticket for "validation" and a discount!!
