This was a great location to St Mark’s Square. Farther from train station. Water taxi’s were on strike and we had a 50 min walk to train. It will cost between 60-80 euros for private water taxi from this location. The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. The hotel itself could use some updating. Rooms were hot, air condition barely worked and leaving windows open made us nervous a pigeon would get it.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff are extremely helpful and the facilities very good. I thoroughly recommend this place and will certainly be staying next time I’m in town.

Located between two notable sites Rialto bridge (2 minute walk) and San Marco Cathedral (10 minute walk). The staff at this hotel were so wonderful! Beds comfortable and rooms well appointed. You must book the canal view room to see all the boat traffic. Still very quiet with shops and restaurants outside your door. Complimentary boat taxi to Merato.
