The hotel is located in Maestre, on the mainland directly across the street from the train station. It is one stop from Venice. The train ride takes approx. eight minutes to Venice. Plus taxis are abundant at the train station as well as shuttle buses. This also means the cruise port is the same one stop by train to Venice. If your are physically challenged and can't wheel luggage around, definitely take a taxi to the cruise port, about 40 euros. Going by train involves the train to Venice (one stop) and walking to the automated shuttle to the port. Then you make a long walk from the shuttle station to the pier of your ship. A lot of people do it this way, but a physically challenged person will certainly appreciate a taxi drop-off at their pier.
It is a great location to get to Venice and the airport. We took the shuttle bus to the airport for approx. six euros per person. The ride with two stops was 20 minutes.
The hotel is euro modern, very clean and sleek. The desk staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean and modern. The central air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was included with our stay. They also have a nice reasonably priced coffee and pastry café.
