The hotel is in the middle of the old town, which was perfect for sightseeing. We arrived in the middle of a very warm weather and the A/C was broken for a week what made our stay a little unpleasant. Although the property has an elevator for the main floors, it also has a lot of stairs and small steps which can be a problem for seniors. Staff is friendly and always up to help! Breakfast is great with orange juice, nice cappuccinos, cakes, different bread and fruits. The taxi can’t enter the old city, so you must carry your bags for around 200m (like for almost all other hotels in that area). And because you are at a very very touristy place, look for restaurants in advance to find great meals. Taxis from/to the station are around 20 euros (Oct 2023) but once in the old town, you won’t need car anymore. Don’t leave without tasting the gelato at Gelatomania — although the name seems from the 80’s, it is the best in town (including odd flavors like lavanda and ginger!).

This was a perfect location if you want to go shopping in Taormina. Its on the main street for the stores, restaurants and main historical attractions. The staff was very friendly, they have an awesome breakfast, and clean facilities. The only downside is that the air conditioning didn't work and so therefore the rooms were hot at times. After spending the day outside, you couldn't cool down unfortunately. Otherwise, it was a very nice place.

Great little apartment BUT we had no air conditioning so it was way too hot. It is looking out over the main st in Taormina so in a great spot. Noisy but would have been fine if could shut windows if aircon worked. Staff were awesome!

Hotel Victoria is a great place to stay - it is in the heart of Taormina, in the middle of the best places to shop, eat and drink in the town. The staff at Hotel Victoria are incredibly friendly and really make you feel welcome.

Hotel Victoria was in a very convenient location. There is good things to say about this hotel, the staff, very friendly, and the location was a amazing right at the heart of the shopping district. The downside to this hotel is that it was very uncomfortable. The double bed is made up of two single beds on a wood platform. As soon as I sat on the bed, I knew we were going to have a problem. You could feel the wood through the mattress. We were there for four days, after the first day my body hurts so bad because the mattress so hard. My husband went down to the front desk at offered to pay for some kind of a liner or mattress cover. But they wouldn’t. On the second day, we tried stacking four blankets together to soften the bed cover, but it still was hard. The thing is if I’m going on vacation I want to have at least a bed I can sleep in. He said all of the rooms have the same mattress and they’re all hard. So if you want a good vacation at a great location, but don’t care about your sleep. This is a great hotel. But if you care about your comfort levels, this is not a good hotel for you. It honestly was like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. It consisted of meat, cheese, and bread and cold boiled eggs, but that I could deal with. The hotel was very clean and the room was very clean. one final thing, the shower was so small that if you’re over 200 pounds good luck getting it there. We’re not big people, but we had to turn sideways

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town, close to shopping, cafes/restaurants and tourist attractions. We could easily access the public bus service. The hotel is a bit quirky and traditional in decor, however very clean and with a good sized modern bathroom. The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff from reception, catering and cleaning were so very polite and helpful.

I’m not sure how this property is considered a luxury hotel. There is nothing luxurious about it. The mattress was as hard as a rock. Absolutely no give to it at all. The pillows were 2 inches of hard foam, again, no give to them. The furniture is sparse and uncomfortable. If you are looking for anything soft and comfortable, you won’t find it here. At best it is a Howard Johnson’s wannabe.

Great location close to everything and right on the main pedestrian street. Super host Luigi, Pietro and Salvatore are very helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is not great, you must park at Lumbi and the shuttle is very irregular, otherwise great stay. Warning: avoid the tourist trap restaurants and stores. Shop and dine outside the tourist zones.

You are right on the Corso with this property. Lovley. It is a bit dated in the bathroom, but clean!! So if you are really large, or need a 5 star bathroom, this is not for you. If you are flexible, stay here and go visit the roof. If you are driving: Park at the Lumbe and take the shuttle to the main part of the city. The Lumbe costs 24 euros for 2 days of parking. That we didn't know that at first made the trip to Taormina a bit more interesting!

The location is super convenient to all Palermo has to offer. The room I took is very small, cramped even, but the proprietors are kind, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also very ample and high quality.

Very small rooms. Just barely able to get in tiny shower and I'm not a huge person. No a/c before summertime, no ceiling fans. Street noise is horrible when you are forced to open window. Bed is hard as a rock. and paper-thin pillows.

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria for 4 nights as a family of 4 with two teenage boys. Two rooms next to each other on the second floor. The hotel is in an enviable location on Corso Umberto, right in the heart of Taormina. This is a no frills hotel but it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and clean. Fresh towels were provided daily. Breakfast was standard European - cereals, bread, ham, cheese etc and more than enough. Luigi and Salvatore on the main desk were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our Godfather Tour was cancelled with very little notice and Salvatore recommended and arranged a private 3-hour taxi tour to take us to the same places with less than an hour’s notice - one of the best things we did. We highly recommend the Hotel Victoria and all the staff - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Simple, no comfort, clean. Location couldn’t be better! Right onto Taormina historic center. Unavoidable parking on the outskirts ( $ 10 per day) Best: staff ( Piero and Luigi) , always friendly and helpful for guidance and details! Great location. Parking instructions were horrible! Do not drive behind the hotel! You cannot get out. Park at any parking lot on the outskirts and let them shuttle you in. Beds and pillows are the hardest I have ever encountered. If the pillows would at least have been soft, I could have tolerated the bed. But, the pillows were flat rocks and the bed was like cement. I would not stay here again for that reason alone. Everything else was fine.

The property has no heat and AC during our stay in April. This is the only hotel out of 6 we stayed in Sicily that doesn't have heat or AC. They claimed it is against the law during this time of year which I doubt when all other hotels we stayed because it can get cold at night in April. Poor sound insulation.

Hidden gem!!
This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Taormina! I’m extremely surprise for spending so little and getting so much of it. It is a really old but well taken care building! The room is so cute! Wardrobe and all furniture have drawings on it! It is located in the middle of the Main Street in the city right besides Ermenegildo Zegna store. Breakfast was very simple, but the whole experience had to many great things that I wouldn’t think less of this place bc of a simple breakfast. Staff was super friendly and helpful! I will definitely come back to Taormina and stay at Hotel Victoria!

lovely little hotel right on the corso umberto (main drag) breakfast was very nice (shout out to the lovely women who prepared our cappuccinos) our room had a lovely little balcony. very accommodating staff. would definitely recommend this hotel

Situated in the heart of Taormina's shopping, restaurant and bars area this is ideally located for a reasonable price. Lovely staff on front of desk which is open 24 hours. Our room was no frills basic and the bathroom tiny but the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good. Breakfast was poor.

The location of the hotel is great! On the pedestrian walkway not too far from the bus stops or taxi queue. While I am not a fan of very firm beds, they were ok. The breakfast is typical of Europe, but they will make you whatever coffee you would like to drink. Great selection of fruits. The twins at the front desk were very helpful and gave us suggestions for dining. The owner was there when we arrived and even called a local restaurant and made us a reservation!
