“Unbelievably inexpensive”
We stay at the Virgin River almost every time we go to Southern California and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are spacious and clean and unbelievably cheap. Just right for us. Even the kids commented on the nice rooms, compared to our very expensive, less clean and much smaller rooms at our destination in California.
“Can't wait to go back”
I enjoyed my time at Virgin River Hotel. I had a great time and will go back again. The food prices were great and the food was delicious.
“Good Job Virgin River!”
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Virgin River. The new bowling alley and Kid's arcade was great. We also appreciate the hours of availability for the pools. The only downside was that none of the billboards told us which exit to take, so it took us a while to find the Resort. We do plan to return though!
“What a value!”
Set in hot, beautiful Mesquite, NV, this casino resort is close to Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, valley of fire, Vegas etc. Always very low rates and food and drinks there are also cheap. Plus, its pet friendly!
“Excellent Stay!”
My husband and I stayed 2 nights and we were very pleased. Room was clean, couldn't hear any outside noise. I love the casino..plenty of slots..Excellent Buffet! Staff was very friendly. The saying is "you get what you pay for" Well, We got more than we expected..beyond our expectations. Only one concern..the lady who checked us in and out was not very friendly..kinda cold and didn't ask us how our stay was or even say Thank you. I was hoping to hear..Come back again... Anyway, I will be back in two weeks again. Thank you!
“Rest Stop”
Excellent
“Stop-over delight”
A pleasant place to stop-over on a trip to SLC. Newly remodeled, a clean & comfortable room & hotel. Near to many restaurants, movie theaters & shopping in nearby Mesquite.
“excellent rate for a business traveler on the way from LA to SLC,UTAH”
Much nicer than Las Vegas.
“Looking forward to our next trip there, but will play in another casino.”
Loved the hotel part of it, as far as comfort and having dog facilities available. The food in the casino was really great also. Think they have to loosen up on the gambling part of the casino though, since we never heard anyone in all the time we spent in there (a lot!) win any kind of a jackpot! Not good! Have friends who live in the area, and they said they never play there, but I know they have hit jp's in other casinos there.
“Great value in Mesquite”
We stopped for one night as we were passing through. 'Hotel' is really a motel type building with rooms opening to outside. Check-in was in the casino building and we were checked in very effeciently. Our room was well maintained, no-frills, in a separate non-smoking building. Fresh smelling room, clean sheets, good matress etc. No coffee maker. Wireless internet available for fee ($7.95/day???). Plenty of parking steps from the room entry. A short walk to the low key casino. Town is small so access grocery stores, car washes, etc. is never far. We were very happy staying here. Great choice for the low price.
