“Good bang for the buck”
Very nice hotel for the money. A good alternative to downtown Chicago, which is only about 45-50 minutes away. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a little hard to find - look for the Max and Erma's - it's very close to that. No restaurant in the hotel, but plenty of restaurants nearby from which to choose.
“Great breakfast and staff”
I was impressed by the friendly desk staff, and this hotel has a great breakfast. Mmmmmm waffles.
“Not bad, Not Spectacular”
We had a late check-in after a day-trip to Chicago; it was handled in a friendly and efficient manor. The room was comfortable, but nothing extraordinary. For some reason the TV was unplugged, which was discovered after a few minutes of trying to turn it on and thinking it didn't work. Free wi-fi was easy to access in no time. There was an unattractive water stain/crack along the center of the room ceiling. The free breakfast was adequate - microwavable items, yogurts, cereals, muffins, bagels, and a make-your-own Belgian waffle station that was constantly in use and took a while to use each time, so I wasn't able to partake. The fruit selection consisted solely of Granny Smith apples, so a little underwhelming. Check-out was friendly and taken care of in an instant. So not bad, but not spectacular.

“Hotel Permits Children's Slumber Parties”
I had a little girl's birthday slumber party directly above me on the third floor. I called the front desk and complained of them running back and forth in the room past 11:00 p.m. It sounded like a herd of horses. There were 14 little girls under the age of 10. The front desk sent someone up to the room but that did not make the noise stop. I barely got any sleep that night. If it weren't for the slumber party directly above me my stay would have been great.
“Not a Value”
Overpriced - as is everything at this exit! Had to be the worst floor plan for a bathroom I have seen in hundreds of hotel nights. Rooms are small, Free breakfast was so-so quality - but you paid so much for the room you would eat it so that you felt like you would get your money's worth.
