Great little hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and the best value for your dollar we've seen almost anywhere. Walk downtown to Merida - a beautiful city and worth the visit for sure - and stay here - you'll like it.

“Would recommend to any traveller”

The Hotel del Peregrino is in a great location - only a 10 miunte walk from the Plaza Grande or the Anthropology museum, and close to the Cafe Chocolate! The rooms, although basic, were very clean; the staff couldn't have been more helpful; the open air kitchen/breakfast area was perfect to sit and enjoy the simple breakfast, or an early evening beer; and the trip to Chichen Itza organised at the hotel was just amazing! I would definitely go back, and recommend anyone planning a trip to Merida should stay there!

“Great value for the location.”

This place was very friendly and well located for the main plaza and many nearby restaurants (eat at Chaya Maya). Breakfast was simple but good, and there's a fridge you can put stuff in and you can cook dinner yourself in the kitchen. Its more like a hostel than a hotel, but definately worth the money.

“The best of Merida!”

What a fabulous place! I love the location, the service, and the relaxing atmosphere. There were 7 in our group, and all the rooms were great with everyone having a great time. This little place has a amazing atmosphere with a truly personal feel to it. Next time I'm in Merida, I'll head there!

“Very impressed, great location in Merida”

This is a great hotel if you are on a budget.. I've stayed in big resorts before and wanted to try something different. I was not disappointed. I like the more intimate feel of this hotel and it was nice to be able to get tips from the staff and be in a central location. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and definitely would stay there again.

“Cosy”

We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to heart of Merida attractions. It was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Be aware it is advertised with a pool but it is 4 blocks away!

We stayed at this Hotel in May 2012, it was nice but it did not have a pool. There was very little or no hot water but did not really needed since the weather was very hot and humid. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Chambre minuscule, pas de fenêtre. En plus il y a la climatisation, mais l'hôtel bloque la télécommande sur 24 degrés : on peut augmenter, mais ensuite on ne peut plus descendre !!! Quand on sait la chaleur qu'il fait à Mérida, c'est important.
