“Basic and well located”
Nice, basic place to stay. Only 3 or 4 blocks from the main plaza and easily walkable from Paseo Montejo. It's opposite the police station, so very safe. Breakfast is just toast and coffee, but that's very helpful when travelling on a budget.

“Lackluster”
Generally hospitable staff, no English speakers. Bathroom was a bit dirty & room was small, but the price was right

Hotel was not as pretty as shown in the picture. Very low shower pressure. Bed pillows did not smell fresh. Smelled very used. Window AC unit only had one setting, very cold. AC did not have a cover. Beds were hard. If you don't care about a lot of modern conveniences and want cheap then stay here. If you like a little bit of luxury go somewhere else. Glad I was only staying one night.
“Next time I'll look for other hotel.”
Reception person when we arrived was not kind nor rude. It looked he was only interested in doing his job. The next morning person was much better. The parking area was free but 5 blocks away from the hotel. The room wasn't very clean, I found a hair in my pillow, the trash can in the bathroom wasn't empty, the sanitary paper holder was broken and the bed felt overused (too soft in the middle) felt like a hammock. Morning breakfast was OK.
“shame, dirty and poor service ! Honteux et sale”
This hostel is infected of rats and moskitos Rooms smell humidity, sheets are dirty and room was not completely clzan The pool looks like the rest of the hostel, dirty.... No lust to swim .... The service was really poor, the man at the front desk was not nice, neither helpful.. He didn t make any effort to understand anytething and he was really impolite Except watching tv, he was completely useless The breakfast was free but was totally disgusting... Butter was out of date my friends went in this hotel two days before me and they have the same opinion as me, they hated it In conclusion Dont go except if you like rats
