“Mendoza's Best Kept Secret”
My husband and I were delayed in Mendoza an extra night due to the air traffic control strike in Buenos Aires, not a bad place to be stranded, and we needed a hotel for an additional that was fairly close to the city center and the airport. Many hotels were already reserved for the evening, however, we were lucky enough to find this jewel of a hotel for a very good price with only an hour's notice/reservation through Expedia. Staff was very helpful. Everything was perfect except for the dinner at the hotel. The Modern was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet with the exception of the thunder storm. The walk to Independence Plaza is about 30 minutes by foot or less than 10 minutes by taxi. I would recommend this hotel to my best friend.

A Modern Contemporaty Hotel. Just a few blocks from the heart of Mendoza. The saff was very helpful. Quiet and comfortable rooms, very clean and well kept. My room had a great view of the city and of the snow capped Andes beyond. A great buffet breakfast was included. All at a very resonable price.
“City of Good Sun and Good Wine!”
The Modern Hotel was great! We stayed for 3 nights and ending up adding an extra night after we missed our flight from Mendoza. The free breakfast was pretty good, the biscuits were excellent! The pool was very nice and warm (almost like bath water) and was always empty. The hot tub was not working while we were there, but the pool was so warm that it wasn't necessary. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious and up to date. Free wireless in the room was also nice. The hotel is a few blocks from the main square (Plaza Indepencia) but the walk will only take you a matter of minutes and we felt safe during the day and coming back at night. The workers at the front desk were very helpful. After we missed our flight, we decided that we'd like to go on a few more wine tours during our extra day. A gentleman at the front desk arranged a driver for us along with touring 3 vineyards for a very reasonable price. He did this all within an hour on Easter Sunday! The restaurant in the hotel is nice as well. We ate dinner there one night after a long day of wine tours. It's a little overpriced compared to some of the restaurants that are in the city, but worth it for the convenience of being able to walk up to your room afterward. Great hotel!
