“Great location”
This is our second stay at the MacCallum House and we were again extremely satisfied with the room & staff. The accomodations are first rate and the location is ideal for walking to shopping & dining.
“Mendicino Treasure”
The inn is a restored Victorian structure surrounded by beautiful flowers. Our room had all the ammemities expected in first class lodging...pillowtop mattress...down pillows...refrigerator...microwave...robes...high end toiletries...etc. We would definitely stay here again. Peggy was particularly helpful in getting us settled in.
“Amazing place to stay”
The MacCallum House was amazing. We were there on a sunny afternoon and played croquet on the lawn and had a complimentary glass of wine sitting on the patio! The bed was comfy, great linens and there was a clawfoot tub in our room. The restaurant is a MUST while there. We actually ate in the Grey Whale Bar, a little less pricey, but just as delicious. Great service and fun product (L'Occitane) in the room... nice touches! Right in town and across from the beach.
“More for our money”
We received a free upgrade (probably due to the off-season booking) and the price came with a free breakfast...not continental, either...a full breakfast from the menu. Great room in a historic Victorian house. First class.

“Great Breakfast”
The McCallum House provided a terrific breakfast in the main house overlooking the ocean. Great menu worth the price of the room. The Inn is divided into the main house, 2 buildings adjecent to the main house and then the suites which are about 6 blocks from the main house. The breakfast and the hosted beer and wine are all at the main house. The suites are very comfortable, big soft bed, great big spa tub, fireplace and wonderful bathroom amenities.

“Great Value in Mendocino”
Fantastic value! Our stay was very pleasant. Property was just as described, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
“Extremely relaxing - 2 days away felt like a week!”
The room was extremely pleasant. On their website, the picture of the room looked very pink. However in person it was much more pleasant, very faint. So take some of the pictures with a grain of salt. The provided soaps/lotions/bath salts were of top quality and very luxurious. The breakfast that came with the room was incredible. Even without the breakfast the room was fantastic, but with the inclusion of the breakfast it makes the MacCallum House a wonderful stay. The room was nice and roomy - with upgraded windows and such. It was very comfortable. The room we had even had a balcony that we could eat lunch on. I highly recommend the deluxe rooms.
“very charming”
The location is perfect for exploring Mendocino. The hotel was charming. Breakfast (included) was in the sunny closed in porch and was exceptionally good.
