“Fort Bragg's hidden treasure!”

“Nice, quiet, comfortable stay”
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a recently remodeled roon whic was very nice. The price was very good too.
“Run down remake”
The service at this hotel was very nice and helpful. We had a problem with our reservation upon arrival and they took care of it. They even upgraded us to one of their "remodeled" rooms. Unfortunately, the remodeled room was sad. The water was brown, we assumed from rusty pipes, and the room was quite shabby- cheaply remodeled to say the least. Staying there was fine for our needs since we were just passing through for one night but had I intended on a romantic getaway or a nice hotel, I would have been sorely disappointed.
“Not impressed; would not return to this motel”
If all rooms were newly remodeled, I did not see it in our room. I was a little uneasy when I saw a plunger by the toilet in the bathroom and what appeared to be mold on the rubber molding of the shower door. The shower door itself was difficult to open and close - no gliding there. Shower curtains would be a much better fix for the room, and probably healthier. Carpet was dingy, the room had an unpleasant odor, we used bath towels as mats for the cold floors and the grounds were run down. A little maintenance would charm up the place. Pictures on website are not comparable to the room we stayed in or the grounds; not even close. In a word; seedy! Don't go there.
“Avoid this one!”
This place was overpriced! The heater was inefficient and in a poor location. The bathroom was not heated and had a cold, hard tile floor with no rugs. This area is near the coast and in summer is not real warm. The room itself had no carpet; only a cold laminated flooring. Coffee maker was not working, TV remote did not work, tiny screen wall mount TV was hard to view, no tv listings in room, no local business listings. Bathroom vent did not keep mirrors from steaming up. TP roll was mounted way too far from toilet! Beds squeeked horribly! Walls were paper thin. We heard voices from both neighboring rooms. No "How are we doing" form for us to give an opinion. This motel is one I would not stay at even if the price was cut in half!
