“It is truley Americas Best Value”

The place is a short distance to Safeway, which is a convient for someone with kids. They provide free breakfast that includes coffee, orange juice, yogurt, and homemade muffin...yummy... I was lucky to be there on a warm beautiful weekend. However the place have no AC. The room is clean, but the quality of the bed is a bit uncomfortable...hey, it's a motel...pay for what you get. It's 5 minute away from the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens and the Skunk train. Overall, I was happy with the place. I would highly recommended to someone who's on a budget with kids.

“Nicest desk clerks on the Coast!”

We called from the road to let them know we'd be arriving late in the evening and the clerk, Dennis, was most gracious! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. I felt like an 'old-timer' on my first visit.

“Decent Hotel”

This was a pretty good hotel and one of the best priced for the area. Nothing fancy, but friendly staff, clean rooms, free continental breakfast, walking distance from a variety of restaurants. The floors are a tad thin, so if you're on the bottom floor, you might hear footsteps if the person/people upstairs are walking around a lot. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room on the 2nd floor.

“Great weekend stay!”

We had a very pleasing visit to Fort Bragg for my boyfriend's birthday. The hotel was a little outdated but everything else made up for it.The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly we enjoyed their advice for places to visit as well as places in town to eat at. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and a good rate for the location. We will definitely be staying there again.

“The best!”

We come to Ft. Bragg a couple times a year and have stayed in several different motels there, but the Seabird Lodge was by far the BEST! No more trying out a new motel whenever we visit, we've found a favorite. The pool/hottub was fantastic, the kids loved it too. The homemade muffins and hot coffee in the mornings was a perfect way to start our day. The only complaint I have is that the mattress was a little too firm. Very nice place and very affordable.

We loved our stay there and how dogs are part of the family there too. They are so wonderful and helpful too, wether its help on a place to eat or what is the best shops to go to they never let you down! love the seabird and cant wait to go back!

“Recommended”

The Inn is so 80's BUT very clean, extremely welcoming, accomodating staff and pet friendly. I would highly recommend this Inn. I also left my wallet there and they mailed it to me safely and promtly. And for that, I am truly thankful. They also border a neighborhood for walking your dog and have a large green grass area for playing/dogs, which was nice.

“Clean and spacious room”

Nice hotel. Very clean and had alot of space. Wish it had a microwave in the room and a little better continental breakfast. We didn't try the heated pool but will next time. We'd stay there again. Price is good compared to other hotels in Fort Bragg, which are all expensive.

“Good, simple accommodation”

On the edge of town, so a 15 minute walk to the center for a good selection of eateries. But the hotel price and quality compensated well.
