“Would Definitely Stay Here Again”
Staff was friendly, room was clean, and the location and price were terrific!

Clean hotel 10 minutes walk to downtown, everything you need in the room (except a hair dryer which I do not care for), breakfast included and curteous staff.
“Friendly helpful staff”
Adequate room with clean comfotable bedding. Basic vaccum of rug areas - dirt along edges and in corners. Basic continental breakfast - adequate.
“Amazing Faculty”
When I arrived at the front desk to check in, the desk clerk was very friendly and talked to me like I was human and not a customer. Also, when I lost my license, they were prompt to let me know that they found it. Great customer service and friendly atmosphere.
“very assessible to downtown Memphis”
The hotel was an older building, which we knew from the beginning, but had been remodeled and we found the stay very satisfactory. There was no hair blow dryer. Most other hotels have these, so I did not bring my own. This caused a small problem, but other than that and the low water pressure our stay was very good. I didn't expect to pay to park in the parking garage, thought maybe that should have been included in the price of the hotel. I guess we could have parked on the street or somewhere else, so at least we felt the car was safe.
“Affordable, Economy Hotel with Great Location”
We stayed in this hotel for a weekend trip. We were able to walk to Beale St, the FedEx forum, the National Civil Rights Museum, and several other downtown locations. We were close enough to Beale to get a carriage ride back to the hotel. The breakfast is lacking and the hotel decor is minimal, but if you are looking for a low cost option with great location this is it. The room was clean large.
“Memphis Bike Trip”
We were not expecting much since the price was so reasonable and judging by other reviews, It was a suprise though. It may not be the most fancy hotel in the area, however, it was clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We could walk to everything. They say you get what you pay for. Well in this case I truly believe that we got much more. We are looking forward to going back and we will be staying here.
“Great Value, excellent location!!”
We booked this hotel, mainly due to its location. Although not 5 star, the price we paid was exactly what we received and expected. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. If its a luxury 5 star room your after, stay at the Peabody. If your after a clean, comfortable and well priced room your after, book the Econo Lodge Memphis. As stated, location was perfect, within 5 minutes of Beale Street. Area was safe, having no problems walking around night or day. Parking was convenient, from memory costing $20 for our 2 day stay, with unlimited in and out access. Would be happy to stay here again, and probably will!!

I was very happy with my stay. Dont know what the bad hype of this place was. It was clean, friendly and a great location at a great price.
