Close to retaurantsPosted 24-Aug-2014
This hotel is being remodeled. The room was nice and clean and exceeded my expectations for the price. I'm sure the other parts of the hotel will be better once their finished remodeling. The breakfast doesn't have many options, so don't expect much in that department. A big plus though is Cracker Barrel is right across the street and Starbucks is a 5 minute walk. There are lot's of restaurants close by and it's close to the highway

Very nicePosted 17-Aug-2014
It's hard to believe that this was listed as an economy level hotel. I've paid much more for much less elsewhere. Newly remodeled. Very clean. My husband and I were very pleaed with our stay.

Memphis Cardinals weekendPosted 13-Aug-2014
Pros: Clean and they were obviously updating the hotel. What they had finished was looking real good. Quiet area.
Cons: Internet was down the whole time we were there. Breakfast was adequate but could have used another hot item or two like biscuits and gravy or sausage.
Location: Hotel is approximately 10-12 miles outside of downtown Memphis but easy to get to.Most things to do are in the Downtown area or a few miles to travel
Traveled to Memphis to catch a few Memphis Cardinals (Triple A) ballgames and take in a little sightseeing.Experienced Beale Street and Greceland while we were in town.

Nice hotel, expected nicer.Posted 5-Aug-2014
For the price, it is a good hotel. But I've stayed in better hotels; depending on the location for the same price.

I'd stay againPosted 25-Jul-2014
Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was ready every morning and area was kept clean. Non smoking room definitely had been smoked in. 3 level hotel and only ice machine was located on 2nd floor. Sign next to elevator said, "do not lean on 3rd floor walls". This was concerning. Room was clean just not updated.

Under renovationPosted 23-Jul-2014
This motel was undergoing renovation. We were not notified about this prior to making the reservation, and it was not even discussed when we checked in. Half our floor was being worked on. The paint fumes were bad in the hall. Many workers were on the at the motel in the evening, sitting in groups outside drinking beer. The room itself was comfortable and clean. There was a little bit of a paint odor and some construction noises could be heard in the room. Also there was a $15 "one-time" pet fee for bringing our cat. Two months ago i stayed here and paid the "One-time" fee. I was required to pay the fee again on this visit. I said that did not seem like a one-time fee, but she explained that meant one-time on each visit. This seemed dishonest to me.

Wow! Blown away by this hotelPosted 21-Jul-2014
Cons: Nothing - we were impressed with this hotel.
We spent a night here prior to our visit to Graceland. They are just finishing renovations to this location and have done wonders with the improvements. This location needs to receive accolades for the what is has accomplished. I expect to see the ratings go up very soon. Great place to stay if you want a nice clean newly refurbished room. And a great continental breakfast to.

Old and run downPosted 19-Jul-2014
2 towels on day one, zero on day two. Room 112, fan extremely loud. Room smelled like sour laundry.
