Wow! Blown away by this hotel

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing - we were impressed with this hotel.
We spent a night here prior to our visit to Graceland. They are just finishing renovations to this location and have done wonders with the improvements. This location needs to receive accolades for the what is has accomplished. I expect to see the ratings go up very soon. Great place to stay if you want a nice clean newly refurbished room. And a great continental breakfast to.

Old and run down

2 towels on day one, zero on day two. Room 112, fan extremely loud. Room smelled like sour laundry.

Selfish w breakfast and towels

Posted 4-Jul-2014
Allowed two towels per room per day not matter how many people checked in with room and not given any towels for pool. Talked w other guests that had the same issues w towels. Don't restock breakfast after 8:00. Waffles and a couple danishes, fruit drinks not juices. One waffle maker with water downed waffle mix. Very disappointed! A 5 day miserable stay! One outlet for phone charger. Other outlet didn't have cover. Housekeeping gentleman was extremely rude and disrespectful. Only nice ones were at the front desk. All Islamic staff.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Crackerbarrel restaurant was nearby. I appreciated the the brochures with local attractions and points of interest.

Room was very comfortable.

Area was questionable but hotel felt safe. Lots of restaurants around, 15 minutes from a Walmart and 5 minutes from a Walgreens. Only 20 minutes away from downtown Memphis.

Smoke..

Posted 20-Apr-2014
It was an okay stay.. I got a smoking room for 420 weekend the room smelled like 59 cigarettes going at one time.. the vent in the bathroom sounded like a chainsaw.. parking after 8 cross your fingers. Other than that the stay was okay..

Quick Trip

Posted 11-Apr-2014
Pros: the room
Cons: The hallway walking up to our non smoking room smelled a little smoky. Not terrible but you could still smell it.
Location: Location was perfect, close to the immigration offices where we needed to go. Lots of options for food.
Our room was comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed.

Not bad for the price

Posted 23-Mar-2014
Clean but very outdated. Rough old stained carpet but clean. Many fixtures showing wear and tear . Some paint and general sprucing up would be all it takes to make this a nice hotel. All staff was friendly expcept breakfast lady who doesnt mind elbowing her way to get the job done. I would stay again just dont expect champagne on a beer budget and you will be happy.

One night in Memphis

Posted 19-Mar-2014
Pros: Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Rikel and Denish were both very nice at the front desk.
Location: Nice restaurants and fast food within walking distance.
Well kept and good for a bargain price. We would stay here again.
