“Great hotel. Great location. Couple of snags.”

Great hotel in super location right next to southern cross station. Very nice staff. Gym is a little small and limited. Wireless signal extremely weak.

“Raving to everyone about the great staff.”

The room was elegant and restful, the staff were friendly and easy to deal with, the level of cleanliness beyond reproach. I doubt I will ever stay anywhere else in Melbourne. PLUS location, location, location: close to the exhibition centre. I would love to personally name each member of staff who wewnt above and beyond for us but they all did.

“Very comfortable and great location”

I was in town for the tennis and of course some retail therapy and enjoyed the location and the ease of travelling around Melbourne from the hotel. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the free internet access in the business centre was handy. Would deinitely stay here again.

“Value for money”

Nice stay, spacious room and the staff are very friendly. Location great as it is right in the middle of town. When you book, make sure you avoid the rooms facing Flinders Lane as it can be noisy around 4 am otherwise thumbs up

“Close to most”

Other than the 2 double bed request (ended up having a folding bed) which made an uncomfortable night for my partner, the hotel was really comfortable.

“Great location to Etihad Stadium”

This hotel was in a great location. We caught the sky bus from Melbourne Airport and the hotel was an easy walk from Southern Cross Station (bus depot). I didn't feel it was a 4.5 star as advertised as the room were nothing special - though the bed was really comfortable with choice of firm or soft pillows. We were in an interconnecting room and our "neighbours" were very easy to hear - even well into the night so not much privacy. We ended up banging on the door at 4am to get them to be quiet 9 they got the message. Staff friendly and the breakfast was a great selection. I was impressed that we could make our own fresh juice, however barista coffee was an additional charge. Joined the priority club to get complimentary newspaper and late checkout, but may look elsewhere next time. Great hotel on a budget.

“Good location - good facilities”

The room had the basics and was satisfactory - 80s decor with choice of newspaper delivered each morning to door. Great location near the City Circle free tram line. Staff very helpful especially in the adjacent restaurant, Sirocco.
