“Best Self Contained Apartments in Melbourne CBD”

Modern Apartments, modern furnishings, great view from balcony, friendly staff, great location as close to shopping and public transport. Everything was great, A/C works beautifully. 5 Star Self Contained Apartments in our opinion.

“Will definitely stay again!”

City Tempo is conveniently located in the CBD right next to the Queen Victoria Markets. Serviced apartment was bright and comfortable, with top of the range utilities and attention to detail. Reception and concierge staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

“Highly recommend City Tempo”

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Good location, with easy access to the city and the Australian Open tennis (Olympic Park). Public transport is very close at hand if you prefer not to walk too much - the free city circle tram stops on the next cross street. The small kitchen was complete with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything was spotless and the small issue I had with the bathroom sink was dealt with immediately. I would definitely stay here again when in Melbourne.

“Great value and excellent location”

WASN'T SURE WHAT TO EXPECT, BUT HAVE TO SAY I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. LOVED THE BALCONY WHICH I WASN'T SURE I HAD BOOKED WHICH WAS AN ADDED SURPRISE. EVERYTHING CLEAN. IF I HAD ONE COMMENT TO MAKE IT WOULD BE THAT THERE ISN'T MUCH ROOM TO PUT THINGS IN THE BATHROOM AND A HOOK WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA FOR HANGING CLOTHES ETC. APART FROM THAT WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN. LIFTS WERE VERY FAST AND IN GENERAL WHILE IT WAS COMPACT BIG ENOUGH FOR US AND LOVED THE ROOM WE HAD AS WITH THE SUN STREAMING IN JUST MADE OUR STAY SO ENJOYABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN WE COULD OPEN THE SLIDING DOORS. WOULD RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS. WALKING DISTANCE TO VIC MARKET AND EATING PLACES. JUST LOVED IT!

“Great apartments, good facilities”

We stayed in City Tempo apartments for 5 nights in Sep/Oct 2011. The apartments themselves are clean, modern and well equipped (hob, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board, hoover, etc.). The facilities in the building - including gym, laundry, and computer room are also good. The apartments are a good 15-20 minute walk from the main attractions and going out spots in Melbourne, but they are close to the free trams that circle the city centre every 10-15 minutes from 9-5 each day. We thought the hotel parking was expensive at AUS 19.50 per day. You should be able to get it cheaper than that, although the car park they use is very secure.

“Comfortable and convenient”

Staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was fresh and clean. The price was reasonable. The location is only a few minutes from the cents of the city, and even closer to Victoria Market.

“Good location and will equipped.”

Nice modern hotel with good quality furniture, fittings and appliances. The room is small for an apartment but fine if you are out and about all the time. Will be happy to stay there again if I revisited Melbourne.

“Small and New Serviced Apartments”

Hotel is brand new in a pretty good location for all things in Melbourne CBD. Room was a wee bit small but with really good kitchen/cooking facilities. AirCon unit in the room is noisy as anything however and kept us awake at night. Staff at the desk friendly enough but did give the impression of not quite knowing what he was doing! The hotel rooms share with private apartments in this block. Room didnt get cleaned/bed made on the Monday we stayed as it was a public holiday. No safe in the room. I have stayed at better serviced accomodation in Melbourne but would happily stay here again if they pricing was good.

“Adequate”

Comfortable budget experience. Additional services like gym and business centre was good. You wouldn't want to spend a long time in the room itself, but ok for a rest spot at night.
