On the cliff tops above the caldera, this winemaking village is home to three of Santorini’s top wine producers. There are also several small hotels, including the island’s most exclusive retreat, the Vedema Resort, with 45 villas built around a 15th century winery overlooking rolling vineyards. Close by, the Antoniou Winery is open to the public for guided tours of the underground cellars, a multimedia show and wine tasting.
