“Your dream bed away from home.”
Somewhat awkward to navigate to because of its offset location from the freeway but once you are there it's an overall wonderful accomodation. Clean, comfortable and friendly. The bed equals the Westin bed. The best!
“We're regulars..”
A well kept secret in Ashland. Large suite (pet friendly) rooms...clean, comfortable and easily accessible. Friendly staff...competitive rates. We stay here often on our trip from SF to Portland. Would highly recommend it.
“Nice place, especially for dogs”
The grounds are beautiful, the staff is polite, the location was fine (quiet!), not close enough to walk to town but given it was 95 degrees out, we didn't want to walk anyway! We're planning to stay there again next year!
“We LOVED it!”
Luxurious suite type room with very small kitchenette - small fridge, microwave and toaster; sink. (No utensils so bring your own.) Views were lovely, it was quiet and clean. We loved it. The continental breakfast that they will deliver to your room if you request it is very modest and I'd recommend going out if you like eggs and bacon and potatoes, but if you just need to eat something and run it'll do. The buildings have elevators and luggage trollies so no problem with getting luggage to your room. There is no shuttle into Ashland which is close but not walking distance (unless you really want a long walk) so you'll need a car or a taxi.
“Exceeded expectations”
We stayed just one night traveling from California back home to Seattle. We were looking for a pet friendly hotel and found the Village Suites on the internet. All I can say is that we were more than pleased - everything was perfect. Even though the hotel is close to I-5 we had the impression that we were somewhere in the countryside. Lovely landscaping, green hills (even with some cattle) surround the hotel grounds. Nice pet walking area as well. The room was spacious, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
“Very Impressed”
One of the nicest Hotel's we have we have used, highly recommend.
“Can't wait to return”
Great hotel, great value, very quiet, clean, and also close to great amenities such as the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Market of Choice.
“Restful room with stellar service”
This property is right off the first Ashland exit heading North on I5, along with several other hotels. It used to be the Ashland Hills Windmill Inn, and is currently a Windmill property, but only half of the actual property is being used by the current Village Inn Suites. Driving in, that was a bit confusing; not helped by the current area road construction, but the Village Inn does its best to clearly mark the entrance. Registration is warm and welcoming, offering you the opportunity to sit down and giving you warm chocolate chip cookies as you go to your room. A call from the front desk about 15 minutes after arrival to check and see if all was OK with the room was a nice touch! The room itself was very, very clean and well appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and our room on the 3rd floor on a Thursday night was super quiet. Wi-fi worked well throughout the room and hallways. We enjoyed the 'Suite Awakenings' food basket that arrived squarely at 8am with the morning paper as we'd requested the night before. Overall it was one of the best places we've stayed because of two things: excellent service and a clean, comfortable, quiet room. The TV's are not LCD's (2 in the room - bedroom and living room), the phones are old school, but those little things are forgotten the moment you recognize the comfort, security and service you have at the Village Inn Suites.
“With dogs”
It's all good.
“Nice and comfortable”
Our daughter goes to Southern Oregon University so we come by to visit occasionally. For the price, this is by far the best value in the area. The rooms are nice and large (all rooms are suites), they are pet friendly so we can bring our little guy with us to visit, and it's 5 minutes to the University, and a couple more minutes to downtown Ashland. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and new. Our bed was very comfortable. Bottom line - what's not to like, especially for the value. Recommend highly.
