This Hyatt Place has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation, 24 hours a day.
The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.
Among complimentary amenities are use of the TV room with its 27-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four, use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area; and complimentary hotel-wide wireless Internet access. A business center and an elevator/lift are available for guest use.
Complimentary parking is provided during guest stays as well as complimentary area shuttle (within 3 miles).

“Excellent hotel close to mayor highway downtown.”
Everything was excellent. The only complaint would be breakfast it was very dissapointing only toasts an bagels. great location and views
“A magnificent hotel”
The Hyatt Place in Medford is a warm and pleasant place for a stay of several days. The rooms are spacious and fully supplied with linens, towels, working desk with wi-fi, a large flat screen TV, coffee maker, and very comfortable beds. Downstairs are the galerie - really a small restaurant open 24 hours a day, and greatly enlarged to handle breakfast - - the latter is included in the room cost except for eggs and meat products, which are charged for. The exercise room is well equipped and the pool is lovely. Finally, the staff are friendly and helpful.
“Good value and a nice place”
Excellent location and the free shuttle to the local T stop made getting into the center of Boston very easy. Some nice restaurants in walking distance as well. Hotel room was nicer than we had anticipated. Breakfast was simple but good and convenient. It was nice to have the indoor pool to take a dip in as well.
“Highly Recommend”
The room was clean and spacious and the free continental breakfast was terrific. Would definitely stay there again.
“Boston- Medford Hilton stay”
My wife had a follow-up appointment in Boston the next morning, so wanted to stay close, without staying down-town. Exceeded expedations, clean, safe, very large room or suite actually, no parking fees. You can walk around Medford Square's stores, and know that you are safe. I ordered out to Benvenuti Itialian Kitchen, they delivered in 10 minutes and it was still hot, and tasted fabulous. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.
“Great location, Just outside the city.”
We got the room with a King bed and pull-out sofa bed. There was still plenty of extra room with the sofa bed pulled out for our two little girls to run around. We did not feel cramped at all. The indoor pool water temp was warmer than most hotels pools we've stayed in. The continental breakfast filled us up each morning. The hotel was about 4 miles from the Wellington Station T which made for an easy way to get into the city. The garage parking under the hotel was convenient.
“Wish I Could Move In To The Hotel”
Amazing service! They were constantly helpful, from the free breakfast, to allowing up to have our room almost 7 hours early, and the shuttle service helping us to no end. It was a great experience, with a beautiful comfortable room.
“Spacious/Update Room”
I like to stay places with updated decor, and in person matched the online photos. The room was very big, enough space for 2 double or queen beds and a sitting area w/ desk when you first enter. I knew the hotel didn't have a full dining room. But the ready to eat food offerings, which included decent looking chef salad, turkey sandwich and baked goods looked good. Add'l. I could order a range of what I'll term "casual" offerings: soups, appetizers, salads, sandwiches. You place your order either for service in the dining area or to go with the front desk personnel or at a very convenient touch screen in dining area. The egg dish I ordered which was served to my table and my daughter's chicken noodle soup were both very good, as was the nachos we got to go another day. Although she didn't care for the mac & cheese which was also to go from the kids' menu. I appreciated the covered, free parking garage under the hotel. My daughter enjoyed the pool; wished I gotten a chance to sample the gym. My only complaint was that I thought the surface area of the night-table was small, and I didn't see an outlet near the bed for my computer. There's a great desk w/ outlets in the sitting area, but sometimes you want an outlet near the bed. I mentioned this at check out and the gal said there was one near the night table. I may have missed it..... Nonetheless, would definitely return.
“Better than the others in Boston”
It`s a nice hotel to stay in Boston. It`s a very clean and nice stuff of TV and the other facility. I want to stay this hotel if I visit to Boston again.
“Highly recommended!”
Staff was great and very friendly. Room was larger than expected and hotel very easy to find in nice area and plenty of parking!! Would definately stay again! The TV was HUGE!!!!!!! And my kids enjoyed the pool!
