The staff and the checking-in process made me feel welcomed. The ambience was excellent. It facilitated a restful and quiet stay. The hotel is nicely situated inside a safe and well-kept street in a safe and well-kept neighborhood. The room, though with worn carpet, is well-kept and clean. The mini-bar is properly stocked...prices were reasonable. Buffet breakfast ( and light dinner) came with the room, though with limited choices. Staff was always willing to help with your needs...with getting taxis ( for same rate as outside) and with some special small additional preparation from the kitchen. A CD player could be added to the room to improve stay.

It's a nice place with friendly staff. the breakfast is OK, and its nice to have free wifi. it's walking distance to a big mall with food court, which is nice. Good is realy good in Medellin!

“Nice but watch out”

Nice building very newish hmmm sometimes staff isn't very friendly but well in the end you pay for a room and comfort so I recommend it. Make sure when you do book for this hotel make it properly as the staff take their reservations very seriously and they could give you a very hard time and that's what I mean when they aren't very friendly, to the point that they could leave you sleeping outside (not very flexible)

“Every night the same light-dinner menu”

The hotel is modern and very well located, those are the pro's. On the other hand, they advertise a light dinner included, but in the 5 nights we were staying at Estelar Blue, they served exactly the same menu. We asked the people there if it was possible to request something different or ar least a different type of sandwich since we had already paid for a light dinner included but they said it is not possible. I would highly recommend the cook of the hotel to vary the menu and improve the quality of the food. On the other hand, cleanliness in room was not at all as one would expect in such hotel. When I went under the desk to plug in my laptop and put my hand on the floor, I had 4 LONG hairs on it and a lot of dust, they forgot to clean that area for a long time. You could notice they cleaned the room daily but not carefully enough, long hairs in the shower and bathroom floor when the two of us have short hair? that is not very welcoming.
