I had a great stay at this facility m, very friendly and flexible staff. Comfy bed and clean location. I will give give this hotel a 3.5 rating not the 2.0. Oh and it was very affordable!

There was absolutely nothing to like about the rooms. I was moved out or a room because of how bad the smell was. The next room smelled just as bad. The air condition did work at all. It was extremely hot. The shower head was in horrible shape. It had 2 settings, I couldn't decide which was worse. Bed sheets smelled old, pillows were rough and pillow cases smelled old as well. Stained walls showcased poor hygiene and and carelessness. It was an absolute embarrassment to my wife. We both woke up sweating and our clothes carried the smell of the unit.

Avoid at all costs!
Fire hazards galore!! I would be very cautious about booking this hotel. Upon arrival I was met with a not so friendly front desk staff member. Once entering my room, I started to notice some minor things but since I was in town for business just one night I started to brush them off. That didn’t last long as I started to see so many things that were no only unsightly but also extremely dangerous. Electrical outlets with no plates and exposed wire, extension cords running under the faucet and sink the bathroom, loose toilet seat to the point where I almost slipped off as I sat down. On top of the fire hazards that I found, I discovered that there was no smoke detector in the room. At that point I was just not comfortable staying in this room. I headed back down to customer service and upon explaining the situation I was rudely told to “just leave then”. I did receive a refund from them after much back and forth with the front desk staff and them hanging up on hotels.com customer support at least 7 times before they finally picked up and spoke with them. It took me an hour to get my refund and head 40 minutes down the road to a safer location. I did make the local fire marshal aware of the issues as the staff had no concern at all over the hazards. I would sleep in my car over booking this hotel ever again. Good news though! Fire marshal is launching an investigation so hopefully nobody will get hurt at this facility with their negligent staff.

Hello Joseph, Thank You for staying with us. I am glad you didn’t find any faults in our rooms. We truly regret that our ice machine was out of service. If ice was the utmost importance, H‑E‑B is only a walking distance away from us. Currently we are short staff and our front desk personal have to assume many responsibilities. We hope that when all the federal assistance program ends and people are willing to work; then we can fill all our open positions. This will free up the front desk personal so the they are always at the desk to eagerly assist a person such as you within seconds. Once again thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback.

Staff is friendly and accommodating when I needed to make reservation changes. The room smells clean when you walk in, just don’t look too close. Stain on the bed, bathroom baseboard was filthy, shower overlay paint peeling, shower head filled with lime, faucet falling off wall, shower curtain moldy and dirty.

You are absolutely correct, our bathrooms and bedding do need some updating. Next time, if you are in the Pharr area please don't forget to pack your magnifying glasses or a microscope and feel free to take swabs of all the corners of the room you occupy and report back to us on your findings. An outlet didn’t work. Overall it was kinda dingy. I made sure to spray Lysol everywhere as soon as I entered the room. The door wouldn’t close right, no matter how much or hard we closed it.

I arrived with my family to check in at 3 in the morning, unfortunately we had to stay in that hotel that is dirty, the beds dirty and stained, it smells horrible, with dead cockroaches on the floors in the bathroom, the bathtub was dirty, no towels . Unpleasant experience. The next day we went to the clean Holiday Inn & Suites. Of course we lost our money the next night as it was not returned. I do not recommend it

Room was ok, bed is hard, so were the pillows. Shower had a leak all night, there were roaches in the room. Couch needs to be replaced, is dirty. The hair blow dryer didn't work. The whole place v pretty much needs an upgrade. Overall if your staying one night, i guess it'll ve ok

hotel was consiéntete located no coffee, hair dryer, in room. not bad for one night. price was reasonable. someone however didn't clean room properly because there was a black pair of men' boxers hanging in closet and bath was slimy by the drain.
