“Best holiday yet.”

Even though this is an older resort, it is very clean and well kept. The fact that it sits so close to the ocean is also a plus. The sunsets are amazing. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Everyone always has a smile on their face. This is our second visit and can not wait to get back.

Were a bit skeptical before going there, but relied on the reviews. At the arrival were super happy since the hotel staff was SUPER nice! Room was a bit more than what we expected. I went to Cancun to 5 star resort a month before and thought I would feel a big difference... well I was wrong - we absolutely loved everything about it. Location is the most fantastic. Breakfasts are to die for and close to everything! I can keep going on and on but to make it short - if you are looking for a great place to stay and like harder beds then this is a definite YEA for you! Cheers

“Canadian in November”

We chose this hotel because we had to be in Mazatlan on business and wanted to be local and comfortable. The staff behind the counter were wonderful and helped us with print-outs, faxes etc. When we did have a problem with our room (our AC did not work one evening) they were there within minutes to fix it. The one BIG HUGE problem that we had was with the time-share saleswomen pretending to want to give us information. I would tell friends to avoid this part of the hotel at all costs. Othewise it was just great! Would definitely stay there again.....just would be a lot ruder to the salespeople wanting us to "have breakfast on them".

its a really nice hotel for the price of it.worth your money, spectacular view and not noisy. we didnt use the a/c at, we just open the baclony door and the sound of the waves from the beach is amazing..No insects..really palce to stay.

“Second Time at Las Flores”

This is my second time staying at Las Flores, and aside from the kinda hard beds, it is a great hotel for the price! Both times, I was upgraded to the ocean view and I can't even explain how nice it is to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean. The staff members are very helpful and give great advice on where to go what where NOT to go. I will go back everytime I am in Mazatlan.

The hotel is only a 21/2 star but it is very clean, it's just old. Staff is friendly beautiful view right on the beach.

Las Flores was great! It is not extremely fancy but it is really nice for what you pay for. The pictures on expedia do not even show the nice pool, restaurant, or incredible (best in mazatlan) beach. The beach has double the sand of any other resort within 5 miles although the vendors are always present and in your face if you are on the beach. They can be avoided by hanging out on the hotel deck though, which is large and has an amazing view. The restauant was pretty good and had pretty good service. Happy hour everyday from 5-7 (2X1 drinks). It is in a great location, right in the middle of the golden zone and there are tons of things happening close by. The rooms had hard beds and good pillows but they were very large and clean (I had a kitchenette). My lost wallet was returned to me by hotel security the next morning. The pool is really nice, but very cold like others in mazatlan. The ocean was perfect temperature. There were no bugs in the room for 8 nights. Great water pressure in the shower. Purified ice in all drinks. Amazing sunsets from the hotel bar/restaurant/beach/balconies/pools. Go to Gringo Lingo, El Capitano, Joes Oyster Bar, Panchos (breakfast). Stone Island tour is over- rated. I was looking for a cheap hotel in mazatlan and came across Las Flores; I would always stay there again as it is largely under-rated and a great place with great people. It is sad to be home.

Good food, and I am a picky eater. Jugs of fresh clean cold free drinking water. I will definitely stay there again. Great buys at Pacific Jewellers. Use your coupon. It's on your room key. Great buys on the beach. Beach was perfectly combed every morning. Just like a beach zambone! I will return. Soon I hope. This hotel was rated a 2.5 star. It's more like 3.5 star.
