Staff members have been so friendly and kind. First class service. We stayed for four nights in a junior beach front room facing the sea. The room was excellent; sea view awesome; four swimming pools; fabulous entertainment every night. The cleaning team (Reagan) was so efficient and ensured that our room was cleaned every day. The staff at the Citronelle restaurant were also very kind and helpful. ( Sweetie, Nisha, Mr Saheye, the lady who did our poached eggs every day The chefs were so friendly ) they all ensured that our stay was fab. The buffet for dinner and breakfast was awesome. We also met the HR assistant manager Darren who gave us a warm welcome and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Memorable stay. We would like to visit again. Highly recommended.

We were here for 10 nights. This has been the best hotel so far . We have stayed at other 5 stars but this one was far better than Lux, and Shangrila Touesrock. The dining experience was beyond our expectations. I would like to praise all the staff and management for enjoying a memorable moment with our family during this Easter period. We were on an all inclusive package. Food and drinks were of a higher quality. We will definitely return and strongly recommend this hotel. Jugdish and family from Salisbury UK.

We've went for Constance Belle Mare Plage because of our previous experience with the chain the last year (Constance Moofushi, Maldives). Well, there's not much in common. Belle Mare Plage is outdated and brings very little value for money spent. The hotel was built almost 50 years ago (!) and you can literally see it in some details. Rooms are spacious but old. Too many things were broken, malfunctioning or dirty. The shower cabin is leaking not only to the bathroom but also to the corridor side. And that is just one example. The Wi-Fi connection in the whole hotel area is a complete disaster! Living in 2024 we have not been able to open websites, use messengers or make online calls in almost every corner except for the very few spots near the pool. Don't know if it's our bad luck with the weather but the beech and the ocean were horrendous: dirty, full of seaweed, small corals and stones. Forget to have a decent meal unless you pay up and visit an a la carte restaurant. The buffet’s choice and quality are very low. Blue Sushi Lounge and Blue Penny Cellar are probably the most decent ones. Make sure you book every a la carte restaurant visit in advance. Ideally, before your arrival. Pro: Staff. Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about the hotel. Our holiday was not ruined, but we had a disappointing experience in general. Room tip: If you go for a beach-side suite, make sure to get an upper floor.

Our stay at Constance Belle mare was wonderful! The resort is very beautiful and offers lots of different things to do. Dining options very wide and all good. The beach is beautiful but the water wasn’t very clear while we stayed. Anyway the staff was incredibly kind and I would recommend organise some excursions with Vincent via the hotel to visit beautiful sea spots that Mauritius can offer

Relaxing stay with family.
Amazing family stay giving that much needed relaxation. Staff were very attentive. Junior suite spacious with all needed amenities. Great beach view and access. And Louie outside would be outside on beach every day with fresh coconut and pineapple. Reshma kept our room clean throughout the day - thank you. All facilities and activities were great - and felt we needed more time to explore and enjoy more. Used spa facilities which was lovely. mini golf. Pools on doorstep easily accessible. Good music and bar in evening both live band that changes each day and dj. Food vary varied in Citronelle and good options. Thankyou to Emily and Boodhu for all their help and attention and breakfast and dinner and to the chefs for tailoring to my son’s allergy needs . Deer hunter and Blue sushi great restaurants. All in all very happy and relaxed and amazing quality time with family.

Fabulous two golf courses, with green fees included. Outside of the golf, the hotel was fine, but not amazing. Our shower leaked into the toilet room, and the water had an unfortunate smell. Breakfast was good but very western-focused.

Its a bit far from all the main activities so you have to drive 30 - 1 hour to most activities. Also, they say 'all inclusive' but in reality, some things that you would get in an all inclusive are not included and you have to use credits which are not much. I did not like that this is not clearly disclosed on the website. Other than that, the staff are nice, the resort smells AMAZING. I wish they sold that scent! And the staff are nice and accommodating.

Constance Belle Mare Plage is a top notch experience. Last year we discovered Constance Lemuria in Praslin and found it to be exquisite. In Mauritius, the resort was just as nice. The staff went out of their way to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Sandrine was extremely helpful and accommodating with reservations and excursions; Damen the concierge was a true pro; Emilie cheerfully greeted us at breakfast every day and always remembered our drink orders. Rishi always had our beach chairs and drinks ready for us; Ashveena kept our suite impeccable, and Satish was so happy making omelets! These people were all so friendly and professional. It is a grueling trip to visit Mauritius from USA but we do hope to come back again! The resort is beautiful, the food excellent and everything was lovely.

Had a lovely stay at the resort. Very friendly staff and the place was very clean. lots of amenities and activities to do. Rented a car out there which made everything a lot more accessible to get to. The resort had good parking facilities and security. Overall a pleasant stay and If I had the option to revisit, I would surely go back to this place.

Best hotel ever
Stay was fantastic. All staff were friendly, super nice, full of happiness and wonderful spirit. Every one we met during our stay left a nice memory which I'm sure will take us back to Mauritius again. I would thank chief Chinnien and Vikarm for delicious food and atmosphere ... also I would like to thank Miss Sandrine for hospitality and her wonderful spirit and lovely smile. She was super helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a perfect vacation in one place.

The location is absolutely gorgeous, soft white sandy beach and clear waters. The beach area and the resort it well maintained. The rooms however are another matter. We had to change rooms three days times during a 10 days stay. Each time the rooms we were moved to got worse. The first was infested with cockroaches which didn’t seem much of concern for the customer relation staff. And when I reported this to the staff they refused a room change. The trend continued with the following two rooms and issues. The staff were completely insensitive and compassionless towards what our experience of the resort had been like. Definitely would not recommend at all.

We traveled with two kids and we loved the hotel. The weather is a bit cold end of June and all July and August so be aware of that. Food selections were good (the buffet was excellent on Friday and good enough rest of the days) Blu Sushi was great, deer hunter was ok as well as the others.

One night stay at C. Belle Mare Plage..
Hotel welcome was nice. As well as check in process, which was fast done. It only took some time to get the room, which was understandable because I was ahead of time. Nice Prestige room. Some issues on cleanliness, which I reported to housekeeping and they did the needful. Place really nice and loved my room which was well located. Great breakfast buffet to include veg corner.

My Australian family stayed at Constance Belle Mare Plage for two weeks in May 2023. The entire experience was wonderful and relaxing and we were looked after as one would expect in a 5 star resort. Having coeliac disease I was most concerned about gluten free dining options there but two of the head chefs (Vishnu and Vikram) were more than accommodating in their assistance in that regard and went above and beyond to ensure my dietary needs were met. Other staff I would like to mention who were also extremely friendly and helpful were Jayshree, Reena, Kartoucha, Luciana and Neema.

Great Overall experience. I suggest you draw cash & tip your favorite staff in cash instead of putting it on the bill because that gets divided throughout entire staff on the resort. Rooms took too long to get cleaned. Kids club is for 4yr olds & above. They are absolutely Amazing!! Premises & pools are cleaned everyday, this place is well run!! I wouldn’t recommend staying beyond 8/9 nights because food options will get to you. I wish they had more than one DJ night because they local talent were not so talented. Overall experience was fantastic, our family is definitely returning to this place

Lovely hotel. Very nice friendly staff. Especially Jose and Lora from the spa. In my opinion extras like bike rental should be free for the hotel guests. Furthermore you have to pay for a la crate restaurants and even if you are on half or all inclusive board. Overall great holiday. Would definitely recommend.

A typical resort you would expect in Mauritius.
Overall, a nice resort with great service. However, the room that we got was a bit too close to the bar where performances would be held every night. As a result, we could not go to bed before the performance ended at around 10~11pm. Apart from that, mostly satisfactory.

This is a beautiful hotel in such a lovely location. Although it is an older property, every effort has been made to modernise and maintain it to excellent standards. The main entrance and reception area is stunning, the four pools are immaculately kept and the restaurants are fantastic. There is a huge variety of food choice in the main buffet restaurant but the extra restaurants add an element of flair and intimacy for those wanting more from their dining experience. The kids club is really good although I think children over 10 years old may not enjoy it as much as younger children. However, the staff are so accommodating and make every effort to keep the children entertained. I would absolutely recommend.
