“Fabulous place!”

Fabulous! Grounds were gorgeous and hotel was beautiful. Stayed five days; not near enough time to experience all that the hotel had to offer. When we arrived the hotel upgraded our room. Thank you! Renting a car is a must in order to see the Island. Lahaina is a quaint little town with interesting shopping. Kids went surfing with Outrageous Surf and we would suggest booking with them; funny and low key staff. Road to Hana worthwhile and of course a Luau is a must. Would sincerely recommend this place to anyone.

“Top Notch”

We found the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas one of the best locations we have ever stayed in and are planning a return visit as it exceeded all of our expectations.

“Wow, Westin Resort Villas!!!”

Awesome service and staff. We were with the Westin Villas for only 1 nite because of a flight problem. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly young lady who made us feel more than welcome and ensured that we were aware of all personal services including extra towels, benefits re the brunch and extended checkout time. When we checked out, it was suggested that we may want to use the lounge facilities before we left. First class service from a first class Accomodation!! Well done!!

“A very pleasant place to spend a week”

My family and I stayed here for a week in mid April and we really enjoyed our time here. We stayed in the north part of this complex with a garden view, and it was very quiet and pleasant. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room during the day, but because we were traveling with a young child, we were back in our room by about 8pm each day. My wife and I spent a couple of hours each evening out on our patio, and we appreciated how quiet this part of the complex was in contrast to the south part with the waterfall and the restaurant. We had a one bedroom suite, and for the most part it was clean and well maintained. There was certainly evidence of wear and tear in the suite. The screen on one of the patio doors did not slide and so we stopped trying to use it on the first day, and one of the grill elements in the oven was not working. Like many hotels, even luxury ones like this one, cleaning staff were inconsistent in supplying the room with soap and towels, particularly in the kitchen. It wasn't until the third day that we received any soap to wash dishes in the kitchen sink, and for the last three days we had no dish towels to dry dishes. The Ocean Pool Bar & Grill and Pulehu had good food, although we found the latter to be overpriced. Pailolo is a good place for a beverage when you are sitting by the pool, but the food isn't special. The keiki menus are limited, overpriced, and unremarkable. With vouchers, the breakfast buffet is a good value.

“Good and expensive”

Positive: good sound insulation, no external noises; many water equipment for rent. Negative: Island view villa with separate bedroom is pervect for two, but there may be small inconvenience for more people to stay: it is practically impossible to use bathroom without disturbing people in bedroom.

“A Great Place to Stay!!”

The Beds are great just as they state! We also received an upgrade which was another perk for enjoying this experience. The Cleaning Staff were in everyday. I have not one complaint!!! They have one outside Bar/Restaurant which serves great food and drink. The hours of operation shut down earlier in the evening but you will tour other areas around for restaurants during your stay anyway. You learn quickly when things are open and when is best to take advantage! Prices compared with all other restaurants that we went to. Whereas this property had a full kitchen some meals were easily prepared, but do go out for atleast a meal a day, for it is a vacation!! Safeway is just a few minutes away in Lahaina so all is at your finger tips! This is not a shoppers paradise, but you do have the chance to sit back and relax in fantastic accomadations. The Beach in Kaanapali is wonderful. But remember the Ocean is a very strong force so if you are taking small children ,be with them at all times for I felt a strong pull while just on the edge of the water! There were alot of families at this Westin Property and they all seemed to enjoy the pool, kiddy pool and two hot tubs, games room, exercise facility.I have stayed at lots of hotels and reading reviews, I thought, this being more of a condo property, that something might be lost in the hospitality end. I felt that the service was simply superior! Try it you will like it!

“Made our honeymoon even more enjoyable”

We arrived in the evening and were wowed as soon as we saw the hotel driveway! It was lined with glowing tiki torches marking the pathway to the lobby. The service was excellent and very professional. We even got a welcome basket. Food service ends at 9pm in the ocean bar and grill. The Mahi Mahi burger and Longboard beer were D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s AND affordable. The Westin villas serve up very affordable food/beverages/and grocery items in the "general store". The room was immaculate and very comfortable. We had a lanai, king sized bed, pull out couch, mini kitchen(microwave,fridge,stove),washer/dryer, soaker tub with jets, and a shower. The shower was especially nice-2 shower heads. The only thing we didn't love about the room was the island view.Building 4 is close to the highway. There was not any road noise when the windows were closed but it was noisy when we sat on the lanai.I would recommend staying in another building if you want an island view instead of ocean view. The pool was good. The loungers were very comfortable and the waitstaff served drinks and food right to your lounger. There are also BBQ's (approx 8) on the property for general use. The beach was AWESOME.Great snorkling (better than Molikini) small waves. Not much shade though, so maybe bring or rent an umbrella. The new North property was VERY quiet and we didn't hang out there much.Overall, probably the best vacation we have had.We look forward to going back.SOON!

“First time to Maui”

Went to Maui for our honeymoon. We had a great time and would highly recomend the hotel to others. We stayed in the North tower with our lanai overlooking the koi pond, very peaceful. We originally were hoping to upgrade to a waterfront room, but were so happy with our room we did not want to move! I don't think most of the "waterfront" rooms would have a great view anyways with the trees along the beach and the hotel being set back.

“Perfect for Families”

Our family just got back from the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort and we can't say enough about it. The one bedroom suite was large, modern and very clean. The kitchen appliances were great, and the washer/dryer in the room was so handy for our family of 5. The pool area is great and wasn't crowded, and the beach/ocean is even better. Highly recommend this property.
