Set against Wailea's hillside, Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is within a quarter-mile of the Shops at Wailea and 1.5 miles from the three championship courses of the Wailea Golf Club. The resort's activities desk can assist with golf tee times and appointments at Wailea's Tennis Center.
Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa completed a $60 million renovation in January 2008. The Maui resort's new pool areas include three spa tubs, a children's section with water slides, and an infinity pool. The 10,000-square-foot Mandara Sap offers 11 treatment rooms, including an oceanview couples suite and an oceanfront cabana located on the ocean's edge. The spa also offers a full-service salon with facilities for hair, make-up, and nail services. Adjacent is a 2,100-square-foot fitness center.
Island-style lunch and dinner are served at a poolside bar and grill, and a poolside snack bar offers smoothies and light fare.

Spread over eight low-rise buildings, Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa's 497 guestrooms all offer large, furnished lanais.
Guestrooms feature Marriott's Revive Collection bedding: 300-thread-count cotton linens with white-and-beige design; down comforter (bedspread) with cotton cover, freshly laundered for each guest; six down pillows, including bolster; and a separate mattress topper.
Air-conditioned rooms have modern decor and flat-screen TVs with premium channels. Bathrooms have bathrobes, slippers, and deep soaking tubs.
Other amenities include CD players, compact refrigerators, in-room safes (surcharge), complimentary weekday newspapers, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Dining
Mala Wailea - Located off the main lobby overlooking the Makani Pool area and the Pacific Ocean. Chef Mark Ellman's menu features a selection of organic products, including fresh island seafood and hormone-free Kobe beef steaks or burgers. Open for breakfast and dinner daily. The lounge is open from 5 PM to 10 PM daily, offering an array of specialty cocktails, martinis, and Belgium and Hawaiian beers.
Kumu Bar & Grill - Located poolside on a tiled terrace. Serving island lunch with burgers, fish, salads, and sandwiches; alfresco dinner with seafood dishes; and cocktails and pupus.
Wailele Snackbar - Near the children's pool slide. Offering smoothies and snacks from late morning to late afternoon.
Also offered is the Te Au Moana Luau buffet that includes tropical cocktails and a variety of interactive activities that includes the Luau show--a Maui dining experience unlike any other!
Recreation
Two separate pool areas include a children's area with water slides, three spa tubs, and terraced decks with an infinity pool. A fitness center provides free weights and cardio and strength-training equipment.
On adjacent Wailea Beach, an activities center rents snorkel and scuba sets, ocean kayaks, boogie boards, umbrellas, and other beach gear.
Within two miles of the resort are Wailea Golf Club's three 18-hole championship courses and the 11-court Wailea Tennis Center.

The hotel was perfect; customer service was great. The beds are too soft for us, and they do not have any non-pillow-top mattresses at all in the hotel. But - housekeeping doctored ours to make it more firm & it was good enough for the rest of the trip. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

My husband and I went to Maui for a 9 day vacation. This hotel was incredible. From the bed, to the pools, everything was perfect. Pictures and reviews do not do the infinity pool justice. Nothing can compare to how great this pool was. Many reviewers complained about not being able to find a lounger chair. We had no problem with this at all. If you couldn't get a spot at the infinity pool, which was one once for us, then the other pools are just as fabulous. The landscaping was perfect and the resort was not lacking in any atmosphere I would expect to see in Hawaii - trees, flowers, pineapple plants, ponds, etc. The staff was very friendly. I also feel that the restaurant food and drinks were expensive, but it is just a short walk to Wailea Shopping Center. The bed...incredible! The room was beautiful; we stayed in the tower and loved that location. Our room looked over the beach, and it was the most amaizing view! We spent a large amount of time at the resort, because it was so perfect. We did spend time over on Kaanapali Beach, and I would choose Wailea area over that area every time. It is only a short trip to Lahaina, which is the draw, in my opinion, of staying on Kaanapali.
“Marriot Wailea is a great Maui Hotel”
Just returned from our honeymoon on Maui. We stayed at the Marriot Wailea and it was really just the perfect spot for a honeymoon. From the driveway into the hotel, to the welcome facilities, to the pools, and my favorite the amazing lush gardens of the property...it was all very, very nice. We had a king bed suite and was very satisifed with the room and the cleaning that was done each day. Obviously we werent in the hotel that much with all of the activities to do in Maui, none the less I was very impressed. 2 public beaches to the left and right of the property plus 3 different pools. Not a pool person so the beaches were great, but the infinity pool did look pretty amazing for sunsets. Would definitely go back!

The hotel locale and view are impressively lush. The room or suite as I had was lovely, comfortable, and practical. Plenty of room, 2 spectacular terrace views. Excellent service from all.
