The Kapalua Villas Maui resort features 280 privately owned oceanfront, ocean-view, or fairway-view villas with one, two, or three bedrooms. Condominiums spread throughout the resort have 6-8 units per building. Floor plans include townhouses or loft-style units with an upstairs bedroom, or one-level units. Sliding screen doors access lanais furnished with lounge chairs and table with chairs.

“Super time at the Golf Villas”

Great to park right at the unit undercover with no extra parking charges. We were in the Golf Villas and had great views and fantastic sunsets. The kitchen was really well equipped. We had to call maintainance to help us with the safe as we messed up our code and they arrived within 5 minutes! The Kapalua Spa is an amazing experience.

“Beautiful Kapalua”

Lovely facility - on the west coast of Maui about an hour from Kahului Airport. We rented a Golf villa that had most amenities (would have appreciated beach chairs). One could rent beach chairs and boogie boards at Kapalua beach for the outrageous price of 15$ a day. Go to Snorkel Bob's they rent boogie boards for 15$ a week. Upon arrival we received a letter advising us that guests no longer have the privilege of using the Ritz Carlton pool, which was disappointing to say the least. The reception staff who answered the phone were hit and miss. Some were unbelievably helpful, while others were not at all. We rode down Haleakala with Maui Mountain Cruisers - a wonderful experience (Randall and Chris were great, very safety conscious). In our opinion, the coastal drive in California is much nicer than the road to Hana. Though very popular, we believe the road to Hana to be overrated. The Old Lahaina Luau was good - however outrageously priced (100$ pp including teenagers).

“Kapalua is STUNNING, PEACEFUL, IMMACULATE!!!”

Absolutely beautiful!! We stayed in the Bay Villas in a Oceanfront condo with stunning views. The resort is immaculate and offers all the amenities you could ask for. Kapalua Bay is great for children and you can rent snorkel gear and see all the ocean beauty right there. No need to spend big bucks on a boat tour. Beautiful hiking trails throughout the resort. Honolua general store offers reasonably priced deli style food and the store has anything you might need. Merrimans had great food and drinks, albeit, a bit pricey. If you are looking for privacy and seclusion, this is the place! Pros - The resort is off the beaten path but close enough to all the action. The condo Had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable bed. Cons - WiFi was hit and miss, the bathtub in our unit was not what i hoped for (no jacuzzi tub). Overall, i would recommend this resort in a heartbeat and plan on staying there again on our next visit!

“Neat villas and facilities”

While staying at the Kapalua villas, we got access to the Ritz-Carlton facilities. Kapalua Spa was amazing - the best and most relaxing spa we ever been to! The infinity pool wasn't the biggest, but the outdoor treatment area definitely made up for it! The rooms in the villas are "cleaned" every 3rd day, but towels are replenished daily. In the information booklet, it said that beds are made daily, but that is not the case. We would walk into our villa not sure if housekeeping has already been in. The "clean" was not the best we've experienced. The area is a quick drive to beaches with surf. The villa is not beach front. We stayed in the Golf villas and we did witness a great sunset over the golf course. Overall, we are really satisfied with Kapalua Villas.

“Kapalua is AWESOME!”

This our 3rd time in Kapalua and we won't go anywhere else. Anywhere in Maui is the best spot for a relaxing vacation and there are many great places to stay. But, Kapalua offers luxurious condo living in a neighborhood setting that gives you privacy, space and comfort. The villas have everything you need for your entire stay. The spa and fitness facilities are spectacular with outstanding staff. The cleaning service at the villas can be tailored to your needs which is very nice. The beach amenities are perfect with chair and towel service available. The golf courses are pricey but really worth it. There is an additional resort fee which seems worth it when you add up all the extras that are available to the guests. The only negative is that they have discontinued covering long distance calls to Canada. We will be back! We love our time at Kapalua!

“"Kapalua's Great"”

This facility is probably the best example of the "Hawaiian Experience" on the island of Maui. The facility is immaculate and they have kept the hustle and bustle to a minimum. This is certainly the place to stay on your trip to Maui.

“Can't wait to go back”

I just wana say, even though this was my first trip to Maui, as I was doing comparison between the hotels, this one was very nice from been quite, had 3 beaches by itself, fully equiped kitchen( I mean fully equiped) which was a bonus since my wife did't liked to dinne out, site was wounderfull, price was suitable.

“Fantastic Villa!!”

Our two bedroom villa was immaculate! A little too far to walk to the beach but it was only about a 4 minute drive down the fairway to some of the best snorkeling on the island!! You have full access to all of the facilities at the Ritz-Carlton, we would definitely stay there again given the opportunity!!

“Great room, amazing grounds, but the service needs some work”

Eventhough we reserved a golf-course view villa, we were fortunate enough to get the top floor and be able to see the ocean! Even if you're on the grounf floor, it's a 2 minute drive to some of the best beachs on West Maui. THe only down side to the awesome location is that you're far away from everything else on the island (if you look on a map, you can't take the road going north from Kapalua to the airport, it's a 1 lane dirt road that'll void your rental car contract if you drive it). The only minors issues I had was that the people at the front desk wern't as helpful as they should have been (we got a mis-matched set of room keys, gave us wrong information about the parking restrictions and couldn't give a late check out even though we stayed there for 2 weeks and had 10pm flight). If I go back to Maui, I'd still go stay here!
