Great location, just needs a few tweaksPosted 13-Sep-2014
Pros: The pool and the beach
Cons: Rooms a little tired. Didn't need the phone calls from the Starwood Preferred Guest desk.
The hotel is situated on a lovely beach, with a great swimming pool. Staff were friendly enough. A great location within easy walking distance to the Whalers Village. The hotel room we had was a little tired and need of a refresh. We were initially billed for valet parking each day even though we hadn't used it, and double-billed for a dinner, so I recommend checking your invoice carefully at check-out. With a few tweaks - this would be a great resort!

Worst service, mediocre hotel. Go somewhere else!!Posted 8-Sep-2014
The beach and pool area are the only redeeming features of the hotel. If your looking for Customer service I'd go somewhere else. The Sheraton is part of the Starwood group and we didn't see any indication of that. This hotel ruined our honeymoon and didn't care either.

Near Black Rock is the best!Posted 8-Sep-2014
It's Maui...not much more can be said. Close to Black rock is a big plus, but also the facility and pool is outstanding.

Excellent accommodations. Everything was perfect!Posted 7-Sep-2014
Beach area was clean, and the staff was excellent. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. We will visit here again!

beautiful resort on the beachPosted 31-Aug-2014
really nice resort enjoy the stay but a bit pricey especially with extra hotel extra taxes (like property fee vacancy fee and occupant fee) which are not included in hotel rates. only in Sheraton Maui, that's ridiculous. Some staff not friendly at all especially at the front desk ( especially with Japanese background who was quite rude, which is not a nice welcome on your arrival in the Sheraton.) Also hostess staff for breakfast needs to work on a friendly customer service

enjoyable stayPosted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: Location on the beach..close to everything and the swimming pool.
Cons: They need new carpet is some areas... Drop the stupid "Resort Fee"
We always enjoy our stay here.. quite, excellent grounds and nice people. I don't think I will ever get used to the "resort fee" it is just an add-on for stuff that should be included in the price on the room charge... Was ondering why you only get one day free internet service when charged $30 resort fee everyday?

Pros: Clean. Spacious.
Cons: 1) When someone up above us took a shower, the noise from the plumbing was way too much.
Location: Right near the ocean. Plenty of water sports opportunities.
Mostly pleasant. But on the last day, we almost missed our ride to the airport. We waited by the front lobby to be picked up, but no ride came. Fortunately, some other couple was also waiting the shuttle and someone from the hotel told them to go down to where the buses stop. We overheard him and made to the shuttle on time.
