"The team is warm and friendly. They gave me a gift for my birthday. So sweet! They work together to clean and maintain the property. Pools are great and its beach front. Great job Aston Kaanapali Shores! Thank you!"

"The Maui Coast property was delightful. We enjoyed the Aloha vibe and great service from everyone in every department. From the moment we arrived to the very last moments before we departed, the front desk staff, the cleaning staff, the poolside bar and restaurant staff, the Caffé Kihei staff, and the shuttle driver.
Our room was extremely comfortable. It has a lovely little outdoor sitting area with a terrific garden of native plants. The beds and bedding are top notch. The room has a wall safe, a large refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker, nice glassware and mugs(not plastic!), great water pressure and the mirror has a heated center area so you can see even after a steaming hot bath or shower.
The pool is great and there is a friendly bar with live music every night. It is a lively resort without being obnoxiously noisy or crowded.
Additionally, the location is terrific if you like walking. We wanted a vacation without the trappings of a car and this is the perfect place. When we wanted to go a little farther than we wanted to walk, they offer shuttle services for up to three miles in a very clean, comfortable and high model minivan with a very kind driver.
We would stay here again in a minute!
There is construction next door on a new phase. They have done a nice job blocking it off. It was noisy at times, but not awful. It was never an issue for us. If you are picky and like to complain, don’t stay here! Everyone and everything here is wonderful!"
"Great place to stay! The staff was very helpful as well. The signage for elevators in the parking garages is lacking and you have to ask for a parking pass when you get there which we didn’t know about. Other than that, we would recommend 10/10 and will visit again. "

"We have stayed at other properties in Maui in the past and used to walk to Wailea Beach Resort for our daily Starbucks fix. We have always thought the property was just the right amount of "fancy" (big, grand spaces, open air design, very elegantly laid out property) but with a definite chill/older property vibe. Getting to stay here was so much fun and we absolutely LOVED our time at the hotel. I walked the extensive and absolutely beautiful beach paths every morning getting over 12,000 steps daily. Spending so much time in the immediate area and walking through/past all the surrounding properties, I think WBR has the best orientation to the ocean and the most usable oceanfront property. Note that there is no beach immediately in front of the resort but I think that's a good thing! It feels very private with not a lot of other folks coming to linger in front. I travelled with my 14 year old daughter and we used all the pools including the really fun Adventure Pool. We also used the hotel's cruiser bikes twice for a trip to Kihei and another further south to Makena Landing Park. The Island Gourmet Market and Shops at Wailea are right next door (up the hill slightly) as is must-visit restaurant Monkeypod and their famous (and fabulous) Mai Tais. The staff at WBR was LOVELY - from the front desk, to the Bell Hops, to the clerks in the stores, the STBX staff, cleaning staff - everyone was GREAT. Stay here!! It has it ALL!!!!!!"

"It is very old in appearance and feel. The staff is very helpful but the hotel needs a face lift. For instance, the wicker on the desk chair has holes and webbing that is in shambles."
