“Great place to stay”

Had a great view of the ocean from our room. Could see whales every day. Very nice pool area and grounds. Great walk on the beach every morning. Free parking and usually could park within 100' of the front door. A very good location for an enjoyable vacation. Will be staying here again if we return to Maui.

“Extremely Impressed”

This was our first trip to Hawaii. We stayed in the studio apartment and had an awesome view of the ocean. The apartment was very clean and we had housekeeping services every day. The office staff was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back!!

“Beautiful is only the beginning!”

When we arrived to our suite the first thing we did was looked at the ocean from our lanai. The views were so beautiful, and the staff we very nice. I will be retuning to Maui in a few months and Outrigger is my #1 choice.

“Would go back in a heartbeat”

We were very happy with the Hotel, it was just as your virtual tour showed it, and actually it was better when we actually got there. view from balcany was wonderful, we sat every morning and watched the whales while we had our coffee. The whole trip was fabulous.

“Perfect vacation location”

Hotel was situated in a hotbed of things to do. Grocery store close by, many restaurants and beautiful beaches to choose to go to daily. My only issues with the room was that the bedroom was not enclosed- so I had to tip toe around until my boyfriend would wake up. Our room had a partial ocean view and at night you could sometimes here the wind, which made it a little difficult to sleep. Aside from that- the convenience of a full kitchen, laundry and fitness room here made the accomodations perfect for us. A coffee shop was across the street, alongside with a Whalers General Store & 2 nice restaurants (Roy's, Maui Brewing Company). Front street was only a short drive away, so we frequented it often! Can't wait to go back!

“Nice and quiet”

Would stay here again- if you are looking for lots (or any) nightlife, this may be too quiet for you. Not too many restaurants in walking distance, but so many within an easy 5 or 10 minute drive (example:Lahaina). Lots of BIG turtles at Royal Kahana beach. Pool, is big, quiet and warm!

“This is the place to stay!”

My husband and I just returned from 7 wonderful days at the Royal Kahana. This is our 3rd time staying there. Our reservations were for ocean view, but we up-graded to ocean front upon checking in and had the best condo we've ever stayed in. (809) It has recently been redecorated-new carpet-furniture and the view was to die for! The 1 Bdrm was so huge, with King bed as well as Day bed and we didn't feel cramped up at all. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful beach without a lot of people, this is your spot. The Royal Kahana is a well keep secret for a beautiful hotel/condo at an affordable price. Do not recommend the Studio (small)--Go for the 1 or 2 Bdrm Condo. It's worth the extra $$. Already planning our next trip to stay there.

I booked this through expedia. The hotel was great. Had an awesome view of the beach and ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was right, but remember, I booked through expedia. Definitley recommend Maui and the Royal Kahana.

“Can't wait to go back!!”

We spent about a week here and it was amazing. The hotel was perfect. We are a family of 5 and having a full kitchen and washer and dryer made the trip very comfortable. We would book our next trip in Maui at this hotel. The staff was helpful at all times and the booking of tours and activities was so easy with staff in the lobby to give advise and help us pick the best tours for the time we were there. Was very relaxing and a bit off the path of the bigger hotels. It was also within a short distance to all the places we wanted to go.
