“Our First Trip to Hawaii”
Everything was great. This was our first stay in Hawaii. We enjoyed the food, the room, the pool, and the beach. It was fantastic. We would stay here again. Thank you for a good first experience.

We were in Hawaii for our honeymoon. This hotel was clean, charming, and the service was exceptional. We will stay here again in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience!
“Perfect for us”
We needed to be close to the airport for an early departure. It was about 7 minutes to the airport. Beautiful grounds, beach access with no people on the beach! Parking was a little sketchy but ok. Restaurants across the street. Continental breakfast was abundant.
“Basic Old Style Motel”
It was a little pricey, but the front desk folks couldn't have been nicer. It's a run down old-style motel... Clean enough, comfy enough, nothing super. The pool is quite nice, as is the setting on the Kahului shore. The breakfast buffet consisted of several different types of store bought boxed donuts, pineapple juice and coffee. Again, perfectly fine place to hang your hat for a night or two. Not a hot romance location.
“Great location”
Nice little hotel. Nothing fancy but decent and very friendly staff. Set aside your North American impatience for the complimentary breakfast because service can be very slow. I would definately stay here again.
“Satisfactory”
We found the Maui Seaside hotel perfectly satisfactory for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excelent. Very close to the airport and within an easy drive to all the beaches and at the start of the road to Hana.
“Great stay with lots of Aloha”
My wife and I love this hotel. The staff treat you like friends. Much Aloha. An easy thing not to do where only tourists are the clientele. They also gave us suggestions on places to eat or shop, such as local health food store. They also upgrade your room, without us asking for it, if it's available. We plan on coming back here many times. Also, this is a locally owned hotel on Maui. Another important reason to give them our business. An they deserve it. They do a great job.
“Will stay there again when I go back.”
Priced right for families. The continental breakfast was good, comparible to those stateside. Beds were comfortable and showers worked great. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very nice pool and beach area. Fun to watch the Long Boat rowers practice.
“Great 1st time stay!”
Being our 1st time stay and only seeing on the Web., we were pleasantly surprised with all amenities. All staff were friendly and helpful and the accommodations were excellent! We have absolutely no complaints about anything. The room was great! Clean, if not new it was remodeled very well. We definitely would stay again.
“Best value for the money”
Family vacation. Stayed for one week. Friendly staff with fast check-in. Great complementary hot breakfast, not your usual continental breakfast at other hotels. Room was clean and comfortable. Don't expect any 5 stars amenities, just basics to shower and sleep after a long day. Daily $5.00 parking was reasonable and safe with security guard check-in. A vehicle rental is a MUST to drive around the island and daily activities. Easy drive to south side of Maui and water activities. FYI - don't take the "drive to Hana" if you are have motion sickness. Personally, it was over rated and took most of the day. Costco fans - it is less than 2 miles away. Definitely recommend this hotel to budget minded travelers.
