Maui Kai offers 52 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature iPod docking stations and CD players. Balconies open to ocean views. These individually decorated and furnished accommodations have separate sitting areas. Beds feature premium bedding. 26-inch flat-panel televisions come with cable channels, first-run movies, and DVD players. Accommodations at this 3-star condo have kitchens with full-sized refrigerators/freezers, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers.
Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wired high-speed Internet access. Business-friendly amenities include laptop-compatible safes and phones with voice mail; free local calls are provided (restrictions may apply). Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and ceiling fans. Housekeeping is offered weekly and irons/ironing boards can be requested.

“Oceanfront rooms at a fraction of the cost!”
Stayed at the Maui Kai for a week. The rooms are a little outdated, but the location and view more than makes up for it. Truly an oceanfront location for a lot less money. I'd higly recommend it!
“Awesome place! Great view! Amazing Sunsets!”
First time visitor to Maui and and a wonderful time. This place is conveniently located. Great views, and snorkeling in the surrounding area.
“Perfect for me”
If you are looking for a big swimming pool with lots of other people, this place is not for you. If you want a great location with an ocean front lanai this is the place. The pool here is small but we practically had it to ourselves every day. I love the fact that it had a small kitchen, we saved $ having breakfast in our room everyday out on the lanai. I will definately return to the Maui Kai on my next visit to Maui.
“Great condo for those on a budget”
We stayed in a jr. suite--"Cloud 9." The room was great and the view was AMAZING. You have unobstructed views of the entire ocean. You really can't beat falling asleep to crashing waves. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Maui Kai is minutes from Kapalua airport (literally the smallest airport I've ever been to). It's a 5 minute drive to Lahaina and there is a beach right behind the hotel. I can't wait to stay here again--I'm recommending it to all my friends.

“Maui Kai”
You couldn't' ask for a better place, close to everything, right on the ocean, beautiful scenery, quiet! Spend the little extra and get the corner room with the double views. Pool looked great but we spent our time in the ocean. Nice scuba area just to the left of the hotel. Ample parking (no charge), nice workers, laundry facilitates. Everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing vacation is at the Maui Kai
“Amazing quiet relaxing place to stay!”
We weren't really sure what to expect but figured we would give it a shot. This is a great place to stay! Room #808 was recently remodeled and was fantastic. The view was simply amazing!!! The corner room gives amazing views of the ocean and the beach. The room has everything you would need. You get the benefit of the smaller quieter location but can take a short walk on the beach to the resort next door and take advantage of their outdoor restaurant, etc. Parking is included and easy access. We would definately recommend the Maui Kai to others and will be returning their ourselves.

When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room overlooked the ocean and we enjoyed the comfortable accomodations that the Maui Kai offered. We would stay here again. We Loved the Maui Kai.
“Loved It”
Yes...this is not the newest or the fanciest place in Maui, but it makes up for that in so many other ways. The proximity to the ocean and views are unmatched. The unit we stayed in (302) was so clean and well equipped...and efficient. And, to top all that off the the cost is actually "reasonable" for Maui. We loved it and would definitely go back.
