“In the Heart of Lahaina, without the bells and whistles.”

We made the trip to Maui for a wedding, and left our kids with their grandparents. Watching our budget was essential for us, and the Lahaina Inn fit the bill. We wanted a clean, safe place to lay our weary heads, but weren't looking for too many amenities, as we planned to spend most of our time OUT of our hotel. 1/2 block from the ocean, and right off the main street of Lahaina, the Inn has a street floor lobby, and all the rooms upstairs are off one long hallway. We upgraded to a suite, and were glad for the extra space. Every room has a balcony with rocking chairs, and we drank our coffee each morning outside. There's a large TV in the common room, and wireless internet. The Inn offers some snorkeling gear, beach matts, and other items to borrow during your stay. This inn does NOT offer bells and whistles - no pool or hot tub, no TV in the room, small rooms, and parking is a modest extra daily fee and located up the block. Because you're 'downtown', there is street noise @6am as the restaurants and stores stock up for the day. But we found we could quickly fall back asleep. (we were on the street side). BUT WE LOVED IT. Friendly staff, clean rooms with charming furniture, and we loved being able to walk down the stairs and be in the middle of it all. Not a place for kids, and there is no elevator. But if you plan to spend most of your time out of the hotel, this is a great choice!

“Blast from the past!”

Hotel was very quaint and friendly. Facilities were very clean. Somewhat noisy in the morning from delivery trucks up and down the block.

Enjoyed the downtown location with all the restaurants, art galleries, and entertainment. The hotel was small but historic.

“Great location, awesome staff”

I stayed in this hotel for four nights. I had many complaints about the building, but the staff was so outstanding it almost made up for it. My biggest complaint was the hot water. You will not get a hot shower at 9am. But this was not a problem later in the day. Also the room was very small and had no place to sit except for the bed. I would have preferred a room that had a table and a mini fridge because I use those a lot. The check-out time is 12pm which is very nice. Also the restaurant connected to the hotel is a major score. Best meal in Lahina. Also, there is a nice continental breakfast included fron 7-9 which was just pastry and coffee, but you can tell they made a real effort. The location cannot be beat. But I think there are surrounding hotels that have a better value for the money.

was a little nervous staying here b/c we had a few rude encounters from staff on the phone before arriving. once we got there however, the staff was very friendly and very helpful! was very satisfied with lahaina inn! would recommend this place and would also stay here again.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I was pleasantly surprised at how quaint the Lahaina Inn was. It has an ideal location and a great restaurant connected to it. The rooms are small but done so well we didn't even mind. It's a perfect place to stay for two. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
