“Excellent Value & Location!”

The Lahaina Inn is a very small but well maintained hotel. My husband and I spent 5 days here and loved it! Its location is perfect right in the middle of Lahaina. Next to many restaurants and shops with a great ocean view! Not a typical hotel: has no microwave, coffee pot or an iron but houskeeping is provided everyday.Great for people who don't want to spend all their time in the room and want a nice place to rest after all their island activities. I'd definitely recommend it!

“Super Friendly Staff!”

I was really impressed with the service that the staff offered us - they made my girlfriend and I feel like family as soon as we came through the lobby door. The place has a historical feel to it and more "at home" then most hotels. It's definitely convenient to all the cool shops on Front Street. One "interesting" note is that there's no one running the lobby past 7pm. At that point you are on your own. They give you a code to get in to the hotel after hours. A cool thing is that this hotel is associated with the Royal Lahaina in Kaanapali so you have access to all of their ammenities (e.g., hot tub, pool, etc.) if so choose to drive 10 minutes up the road. I highly recommend staying here esp. if you want easy access to Front St. shopping. Aloha!

Area recommendations
I reccommend Front St. area in Lahaina for the shops and galleries; and Kaanapali about 10 minutes up Hwy 30.

“Great value, great atmosphere, great location”

The Inn is located in the centre of Lahina and was located within walking distance to the Old Lahina Luau which is the reason we stayed there. The room we had was located on the front of the hotel. It had a large covered balcony with tables and rocking chairs. The room was large and decorated in with vintage furniture. A large wardrobe complimented the king size bed and wood blinds and natural wood trim. The hotel is circa 1930's and is architechually pleasing. There is no staff during the night hours and the front door has a combination security lock. We felt totally safe. There is a coffee maker loacted in the lobby and it makes very good coffee. Great for taking back to your room to enjoy on the balcony. The Inn is affiliated with Royal Lahina Resort and so you have use of their pool, beach and towels as well. The Inn was better than we could have expected. The day staff were great and eager to assist in any way. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

“Best downtown Lahaina hotel”

This is the place to stay if you do not want to rent a car and to be downtown Lahaina. Very convenient, clean, nice balcony's with rocking chairs, and secure. I would stay there again.

“What you should know”

I would like to say that this is a wonderful hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Location was great to Front street in Lahaina. I can't say enough good things about this place. The only thing that I did not like was the garbage man makes a lot of noise at 6:22am. He was on time every morning and was quick. But after a couple of days of being there, you get adjusted to the time then waking up at 6:22 am kinda stings. But that is the only complaint. Jennifer and Jaime at the hotel were awesome. Thanks for the advise on the great places to eat.

“Overbooked”

I travel a lot for business. This hotel is in Maui. It was overbooked so I was sent to another hotel on the coast. While the hotel I was sent to was right on the ocean, it was older and not as clean. I asked to see the rooms at the Lahaina Inn as I am returning next week and they are much cleaner and newer than where I had to stay. The staff is absolutely wonderful and helpful. I look forward to my upcoming stay.
