Guests of Kihei Surfside - Maui Condo & Home enjoy the oceanfront location, sweeping views, and refreshing sense of tropical-paradise isolation. In addition, the Kihei property has a pool, a shuffleboard court, and a barbecue area with by tiki torches overlooking the ocean. Babysitting/child care is available (surcharge).

The Kihei condo property has 84 units, all facing the ocean. All units have full-length sliding doors that step out to private lanais.
Kihei Surfside's decor is island-style, with rattan furniture. Units have private bedrooms; separate living and dining areas; and full kitchens with full-sized refrigerators, oven/stoves, dishwashers, and cookware and dishes. Ceiling fans provide cooling.
Use of in-room safes is complimentary.

Many recreational opportunities exist in South Maui. The activities desk in Mana Kai Resort next to the Kihei Surfside can arrange activities.
There are some 17 golf courses in South and West Maui, including four resort courses and one public course within 5 miles of Kihei Surfside. The activities desk makes reservations at them all.
Also through the activities desk, the following beach gear can be rented: boogie boards, body boards, surfboards, boards with masks for viewing under-water life, snorkel sets, chairs, umbrellas, children's sand toys.
Snorkeling and scuba-diving trips to the island of Molokini—renowned for the clarity of its water—can be booked through the activities desk.

“Exactly what we were looking for”
This is a nice condo in a perfect location. The best snorkling in South Maui is within 50 feet of the building, tons of fish and turtles. An awesome sand beach is within a 2 minute walk as well. The room was older but clean, well equiped and had great sunset and ocean views (all the rooms in the building do). Located near, but not in busy tourist locations. We will for sure stay here again if we return to Maui. If you check in on a Sunday you will have to call a number for a combination and get your key from a lock box-no big deal there.
“Uncrowded Kihei”
This was the best hotel/condo in Kihei for my money!! Away from downtown and crowds but close enough to still get to the great restaurants (LuLu's), beaches, and shopping. Beautiful grounds and beach right at hotel. Can't wait until our next trip.

“Great Hotel on the Water”
I was recently in Hawaii for business and so glad I found the Kihei Surfside. Great hotel and huge spacious lawn next to the hotel is one of the best features of staying here. Hotel is right outside small town of Kihei and only 5 minutes from Wailea. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is traveling to Hawaii and looking for a great value.

“Superb location”
I travel to Maui regularly (2-3x a year), and this was my first time at Kihei Surfside. The location and views are stunning, and the expansive lawn area right in front of the condo is the best kept I have seen outside of a golf course. The top floor condo (613) was well-maintained and well-stock with all the conveniences. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Happy hour at Five Palms was excellent. 2 minor things -- no sponge in the kitchen, and there were only 2 lids for pots and pans. Neither was a big deal since I just prepared very simple meals, if at all.
“Making arrangements for 2011”
We stayed at the Surfside for 12 days in February 2010. It was an excellent location for the family. Beaches are kid friendly, there is a nice coastal walking trail and best of all, each room has direct ocean view. Depending on the time of year, you might even get to see whales 100 yards from the shroreline. Make sure to bring your binoculars to observe the view from your balcony. The condo was build in the 1970's. Each unit is independtly owned. Some units could use a fresh coat of paint but otherwise it is very clean, child friendly, and not noisy. The grounds are immaculate (a portion of the lawn is part of the State Park but maintained by the Surfside. This Condo is a perfect location to watch the sunsets. Front desk staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Would we go again? We are making arrangements for next year. One bedroom units are located in the center of the six storey complex, two bedroom units located at either end, and 1.5 units locatedin between one and two bedroom units. The complex is six storey's with 12 units per floor.

“Excellent!”
Beautiful condo with amazing views of West Maui and Lanai. Very quiet and uncongested, yet close to any activity we chose. Don't miss the sea turtles dining on the rocks in front of the condos. Highly recommend this place!
“Great place to stay”
My daughter and I found this to be a great place to stay. I carefully read all reviews of hotels in this price package and was so pleased that people took the time to accurately describe the different hotels and condos. Well-stocked kitchen, great central location, and very quiet. We will return!
