“Perfect location on maui”
Found condo to be just right size and location. It is last property at north end of Keihe, quiet not many people on the beach. Will return to this property for future trips.
“Just right for our budget and needs”
Kealia Resort was great. We were on our honeymoon and did not have a lot of money. But for the money we got a great room. The room were fully furnished even with extra. They could use more King side beds. We had a room with an Oceanfront view and it was great.
“Relaxing and Quiet”
We went to the resort on our honeymoon Oct 2-7, 2006 and were very happy with our stay. We stayed in #402 with an ocean front view and it seemed that we the only people at the resort every time that we went down to the pool and the beach. There were probably only 6 or 7 other couples staying there during the whole week. Remember that this is a condo place and not your typical hotel. The property manager Rodger is a really nice guy and is willing to help (I locked my keys in my room), but there is no other services. If you have a group of couples or families, this would be a great place to hang out or if you just want the privacy and quietness that he resort has. It is about 25-45 minutes from Lahaina depending on traffic so plan accordingly.
“Cozy condo with Great view!!!”
Nice quiet condo. Not much activities in the area, but great for relaxation. Literally the beach is in your back yard, about 4 feet from the lawn. I would definitely book it again.
“Great Place!”
This was a great place to stay! The room was perfect for me. I had a one bedroom, number 303. It was very clean with everything you could possibly need; extra blankets, towels, beach towels and even snorkel gear. The kitchen was the best equipped I have ever seen in a condo. I will stay here from now on when I go to Maui on business.
“Beautiful, renovated condos right on the beach!”
I, too, was hesitant to stay here, considering there was only one review, albeit a positive one. After staying in a disappointing hotel in Waikiki, this hotel was a dream! It was newly renovated, had a gorgeous view of the mountains and the beach and was very comfortable and homey. The personal touches made in the details of the decorating and the warm colors in the condo wanted to make me stay in and relax instead of go out and play. The only bad thing I have to say is that we had an ant problem (and saw one roach) while we were there. We had to throw everything down the trash chute outside and keep all our food in the fridge. Despite the ants, this condo has everything you need: a kitchenette, a washer/dryer, a comfortable bed and the constant, calming sound of the waves breaking on the ocean to lull you into paradise bliss.
“Great Place to stay”
This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, well furnished and comfy. Also its right on the beach and the beach is never that crowded. The views are spectacular even when its just a partial ocean view. Everyone their is very nice and helpful. Its actually closer to Maalaea than Kihei proper, but that's what we liked. Its fairly secluded but, at the same time convenient to a lot of activities as long as you have a car. A car is a must on Maui. Overall, its just a wonderful atmosphere and a great place to stay.
“Perfect location/ Clean room/ Beach not crowded”
Good Value condo. Clean and the beach was not crowded at all. Pool clean also.
“Nice Economy Facility”
Certainly not 5 star but good economy facility if one is interested in a economy priced place for surf and sand. A good long beach front, friendly and helpful staff and relaxing location. Although at the far end of the Killia area, yet not too far from fine grocery and other shopping and just 3 miles from the Maui Ocean Center (Acquarium), a must see. Just a good comfortable place but don't expect high class. My rooms were clean and comfortable and well furnished with essentials.
“Lucky me - got a newly refurbished condo...”
Grounds and staff were very nice. I was lucky enough to get a freshly redone one bedroom condo. Not the fanciest, but pleasant. The beach and general location is great - just steps to the pool and then to the beach.
